那領了五千兩銀子的，帶著另外的五千兩上前來，說：『主啊，你交託給我五千兩銀子，請看，我另外賺了五千兩。』

受五千者至、又攜五千曰、主付我五千、又獲五千矣、

受五他連得者至、又攜五他連得曰、主人、付我五他連得、我因之又獲五他連得、

“ So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’

He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’

不过，只要能跑完我当跑的路程，完成主耶稣交托给我的使命——为上帝充满恩典的福音做见证，就是牺牲性命，我也在所不惜。

必有人说：“你有信心，我有行为。”请把你没有行为的信心指给我看，我就借着行为把我的信心显给你看。

在上帝和审判活人死人的基督耶稣面前，我凭基督的显现和祂的国郑重嘱咐你：无论时机好坏，都要坚持传道，以百般的忍耐和教导督责人，警戒人，勉励人。因为有一天，人们会厌倦纯正的教导，耳朵发痒，寻找许多迎合他们私欲的老师。他们掩耳不听真理，反而偏向无稽之谈。然而，你要谨慎行事，不怕吃苦，专心传道，尽忠职守。我的生命如同奉献在祭坛上的酒正倾倒出来，我离世的日子快要到了。那美好的仗，我打过了；当跑的路，我跑完了；所信的道，我持守住了。从此，有公义的冠冕为我预备，按公义审判的主会在祂来的那一天把它赐给我，不但会赐给我，也会赐给所有爱慕祂显现的人。

为此，我按着祂在我身上运行的大能尽心竭力，不辞劳苦。

第一个奴仆上前禀告说，‘主啊，我用你给我的一千个银币赚了一万个银币。’“主人说，‘好，你真是个好奴仆！你既然在小事上忠心，就派你管理十座城。’

但靠着上帝的恩典，我成了今天的我，祂赐给我的恩典没有枉费。我比其他人更加卖力，不过我不是靠自己，而是上帝的恩典与我同在。
