So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.

So also he who had the two talents made two talents more.

The servant with two bags of silver also went to work and earned two more.

In the same way the man with two earned two more.

In the same way the one who had received the two talents earned two more.

And likewise he who had received two gained two more also.

In like manner he also that received the two gained other two.

Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops;then your barns will be filled completely, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

and has a reputation for good works: as one who has raised children, practiced hospitality, washed the feet of the saints, helped those in distress– as one who has exhibited all kinds of good works.

You will be enriched in every way so that you may be generous on every occasion, which is producing through us thanksgiving to God,because the service of this ministry is not only providing for the needs of the saints but is also overflowing with many thanks to God.Through the evidence of this service they will glorify God because of your obedience to your confession in the gospel of Christ and the generosity of your sharing with them and with everyone.And in their prayers on your behalf they long for you because of the extraordinary grace God has shown to you.

So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who belong to the family of faith.

Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha( which in translation means Dorcas). She was continually doing good deeds and acts of charity.At that time she became sick and died. When they had washed her body, they placed it in an upstairs room.Because Lydda was near Joppa, when the disciples heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him and urged him,“ Come to us without delay.”So Peter got up and went with them, and when he arrived they brought him to the upper room. All the widows stood beside him, crying and showing him the tunics and other clothing Dorcas used to make while she was with them.

So Ahab summoned Obadiah, who supervised the palace.( Now Obadiah was a very loyal follower of the LORD.When Jezebel was killing the LORD’s prophets, Obadiah took one hundred prophets and hid them in two caves in two groups of fifty. He also brought them food and water.)

So the disciples, each in accordance with his financial ability, decided to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.They did so, sending their financial aid to the elders by Barnabas and Saul.

He was a devout, God- fearing man, as was all his household; he did many acts of charity for the people and prayed to God regularly.

Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God.

For if the eagerness is present, the gift itself is acceptable according to whatever one has, not according to what he does not have.

One day Elisha traveled to Shunem, where a prominent woman lived. She insisted that he stop for a meal. And tell Archippus,“ See to it that you complete the ministry you received in the Lord.”

For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.But we passionately want each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfillment of your hope until the end,

“ As soon as the ear heard these things, it blessed me, and when the eye saw them, it bore witness to me,for I rescued the poor who cried out for help, and the orphan who had no one to assist him;the blessing of the dying man descended on me, and I made the widow’s heart rejoice;I put on righteousness and it clothed me, my just dealing was like a robe and a turban;I was eyes for the blind and feet for the lame;I was a father to the needy, and I investigated the case of the person I did not know;I broke the fangs of the wicked, and made him drop his prey from his teeth.

If I have refused to give the poor what they desired, or caused the eyes of the widow to fail,If I ate my morsel of bread myself, and did not share any of it with orphans–but from my youth I raised the orphan like a father, and from my mother’s womb I guided the widow!If I have seen anyone about to perish for lack of clothing, or a poor man without a coat,whose heart did not bless me as he warmed himself with the fleece of my sheep,if I have raised my hand to vote against the orphan, when I saw my support in the court,then let my arm fall from the shoulder, let my arm be broken off at the socket.
