「新郎卻說，『我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。』

新郎卻回答：‘我實在告訴你們，我不認識你們。’

「但是新郎回答說：『我確實地告訴你們：我不認識你們。』

曰、我誠語汝、吾不爾識也、

曰、我誠告爾、我不爾識也、

答曰、我誠告爾、我不識爾曹、

主應曰：「吾實語爾、予不爾識也。」

“ But he replied,‘ Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

“ But he replied,‘ What I’m about to tell you is true. I don’t know you.’

But he answered,‘ Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

“ He replied,‘ Truly I tell you, I don’t know you!’

But he answered,‘ Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’

But he answered and said,‘ Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

“ But he replied,‘ I assure you: I do not know you!’

But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

But he replied,‘ I tell you the truth, I do not know you!’

But he answered,‘ Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

Then you will say,‘ But we ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’And he will reply,‘ I tell you, I don’t know you or where you come from. Get away from me, all you who do evil.’“ There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, for you will see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God, but you will be thrown out.And people will come from all over the world— from east and west, north and south— to take their places in the Kingdom of God.And note this: Some who seem least important now will be the greatest then, and some who are the greatest now will be least important then.”

But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription:“ The Lord knows those who are his,” and“ All who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil.”

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will.

Therefore, the proud may not stand in your presence, for you hate all who do evil.

But the person who loves God is the one whom God recognizes.

For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.

So now that you know God( or should I say, now that God knows you), why do you want to go back again and become slaves once more to the weak and useless spiritual principles of this world?

But you are pure and cannot stand the sight of evil. Will you wink at their treachery? Should you be silent while the wicked swallow up people more righteous than they?
