But at midnight there was a cry,‘ Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!’

Tell them,‘ As I live, says Yahweh, surely as you have spoken in my ears, so I will do to you.Your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness; and all who were counted of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, who have complained against me,surely you shall not come into the land concerning which I swore that I would make you dwell therein, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.But I will bring your little ones that you said should be captured or killed in, and they shall know the land which you have rejected.But as for you, your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness.Your children shall be wanderers in the wilderness forty years, and shall bear your prostitution, until your dead bodies are consumed in the wilderness.After the number of the days in which you spied out the land, even forty days, for every day a year, you will bear your iniquities, even forty years, and you will know my alienation.’

Those who went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God commanded him; then Yahweh shut him in.

Be like men watching for their lord, when he returns from the wedding feast; that when he comes and knocks, they may immediately open to him.Blessed are those servants, whom the lord will find watching when he comes. Most certainly I tell you that he will dress himself, make them recline, and will come and serve them.

They will wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east; they will run back and forth to seek Yahweh’s word, and will not find it.In that day the beautiful virgins and the young men will faint for thirst.

From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

Therefore prepare your minds for action. Be sober, and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ—

Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.
