“ However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

然彼日彼時、無有人知、即天使亦不知、惟我父知之、

其時其日、人不知、天神亦不知、惟我父知之。

“ But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“ But no one knows about that day or hour. Not even the angels in heaven know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows.

“ But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

“ Now concerning that day and hour no one knows— neither the angels of heaven nor the Son— except the Father alone.

“ But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.

“ Now concerning that day and hour no one knows— neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son— except the Father only.

But of that day and hour knoweth no[ man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

“ But as for that day and hour no one knows it– not even the angels in heaven– except the Father alone.

But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

“ However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

He replied,“ The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know.

But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.

“ Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed.”

“ So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.

“ So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return.

For you know quite well that the day of the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night.

yet there will be continuous day! Only the Lord knows how this could happen. There will be no normal day and night, for at evening time it will still be light.

Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly. Repent and turn to me again. If you don’t wake up, I will come to you suddenly, as unexpected as a thief.
