As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying,“ Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?”

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately.“ Tell us,” they said,“ when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what[ shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

He said to them,“ It isn’t for you to know times or seasons which the Father has set within his own authority.

As he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately,“ Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are all about to be fulfilled?”

When they came near to Jerusalem, and came to Bethsphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

One said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river,“ How long will it be to the end of these wonders?”I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it will be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have finished breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished.I heard, but I didn’t understand. Then I said,“ My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.

“ As the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age.

“ Now from the fig tree learn this parable. When its branch has now become tender, and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near.Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

So will it be in the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked from among the righteous,

But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.For when they are saying,“ Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.But you, brothers, aren’t in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.You are all children of light and children of the day. We don’t belong to the night, nor to darkness,so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.But since we belong to the day, let’s be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.For God didn’t appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.

teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Peter seeing him, said to Jesus,“ Lord, what about this man?”Jesus said to him,“ If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you? You follow me.”

They asked him,“ Teacher, so when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are about to happen?”

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said,“ Why weren’t we able to cast it out?”

and they didn’t know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Then Jesus sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. His disciples came to him, saying,“ Explain to us the parable of the darnel weeds of the field.”

Then the disciples came, and said to him,“ Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”

The disciples came, and said to him,“ Why do you speak to them in parables?”He answered them,“ To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.
