As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying,“ Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately.“ Tell us,” they said,“ when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

He said to them,“ It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.

And as he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,“ Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?”

Now when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

And someone said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,“ How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?”And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.I heard, but I did not understand. Then I said,“ O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?”

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.

For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age.

“ From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near.So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates.

For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you.For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.While people are saying,“ There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief.For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night.But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him.Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus,“ Lord, what about this man?”Jesus said to him,“ If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!”

And they asked him,“ Teacher, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?”

Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said,“ Why could we not cast it out?”

and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying,“ Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.”

Then the disciples came and said to him,“ Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”

Then the disciples came and said to him,“ Why do you speak to them in parables?”And he answered them,“ To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
