“ Immediately after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

「那些日子的患難一過去，『太陽就要變黑，月亮也不發光，星辰要從天上墜落，諸天的各勢力也將被震動。』

此難之後、日將冥、月無光、星隕自天、天象震動、

患難之後、日晦冥、月無光、星隕自天、天象震動、

此時之難後、日即晦冥、月不發光、星隕自天、天象象或作勢震動、

大難甫平、日即晦冥、月失其明；眾星隕墜、天德動搖。

“ Immediately after the distress of those days“‘ the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will no longer shine.

Then the glory of the moon will wane, and the brightness of the sun will fade, for the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will rule on Mount Zion. He will rule in great glory in Jerusalem, in the sight of all the leaders of his people.

The heavens will be black above them; the stars will give no light. The sun will be dark when it rises, and the moon will provide no light.

“ At that time, after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light,the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood.Then the stars of the sky fell to the earth like green figs falling from a tree shaken by a strong wind.The sky was rolled up like a scroll, and all of the mountains and islands were moved from their places.Then everyone— the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and free person— all hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.And they cried to the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to survive?”

But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.

And I will cause wonders in the heavens and on the earth— blood and fire and columns of smoke.The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and terrible day of the Lord arrives.

The heavens above will melt away and disappear like a rolled up scroll. The stars will fall from the sky like withered leaves from a grapevine, or shriveled figs from a fig tree.

And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below— blood and fire and clouds of smoke.The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and glorious day of the Lord arrives.

The earth quakes as they advance, and the heavens tremble. The sun and moon grow dark, and the stars no longer shine.

Then the fourth angel blew his trumpet, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars, and they became dark. And one third of the day was dark, and also one third of the night.

“ And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides.People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.

“ That terrible day of the Lord is near. Swiftly it comes— a day of bitter tears, a day when even strong men will cry out.It will be a day when the Lord’s anger is poured out— a day of terrible distress and anguish, a day of ruin and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness,

I continued to watch because I could hear the little horn’s boastful speech. I kept watching until the fourth beast was killed and its body was destroyed by fire.The other three beasts had their authority taken from them, but they were allowed to live a while longer.

Yes, the day of the Lord will be dark and hopeless, without a ray of joy or hope.

I looked at the earth, and it was empty and formless. I looked at the heavens, and there was no light.I looked at the mountains and hills, and they trembled and shook.I looked, and all the people were gone. All the birds of the sky had flown away.I looked, and the fertile fields had become a wilderness. The towns lay in ruins, crushed by the Lord’s fierce anger.This is what the Lord says:“ The whole land will be ruined, but I will not destroy it completely.The earth will mourn and the heavens will be draped in black because of my decree against my people. I have made up my mind and will not change it.”

When I blot you out, I will veil the heavens and darken the stars. I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon will not give you its light.I will darken the bright stars overhead and cover your land in darkness. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!

For there will be greater anguish than at any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again.

But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.
