若不減少那日子，凡有血氣的總沒有一個得救的；只是為選民，那日子必減少了。

若非減其日、則無得救者、但為選民故、其日將減耳、

斯時不稍減其日、則無得救者、蓋為所選之民、此日可稍減耳、

若不稍減其日、則無一人得救、但為蒙選者、其日必減、

若不減其時日、血氣之倫、將無倖全；惟為蒙選者之故、時日必當見減。

“ If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

若不是主減少那日子，凡有血氣的，總沒有一個得救的；只是為主的選民，他將那日子減少了。

因為假基督、假先知將要起來，顯大神蹟、大奇事，倘若能行，連選民也就迷惑了。

他要差遣使者，用號筒的大聲，將他的選民，從四方，從天這邊到天那邊，都招聚了來。」

神的選民晝夜呼籲他，他縱然為他們忍了多時，豈不終久給他們伸冤嗎？

所以，我為選民凡事忍耐，叫他們也可以得着那在基督耶穌裏的救恩和永遠的榮耀。

耶和華如此說：葡萄中尋得新酒，人就說：不要毀壞，因為福在其中。我因我僕人的緣故也必照樣而行，不將他們全然毀滅。我必從雅各中領出後裔，從猶大中領出承受我眾山的。我的選民必承受；我的僕人要在那裏居住。

弟兄們，我不願意你們不知道這奧祕（恐怕你們自以為聰明），就是以色列人有幾分是硬心的，等到外邦人的數目添滿了，於是以色列全家都要得救。如經上所記：必有一位救主從錫安出來，要消除雅各家的一切罪惡；又說：我除去他們罪的時候，這就是我與他們所立的約。就着福音說，他們為你們的緣故是仇敵；就着揀選說，他們為列祖的緣故是蒙愛的。因為神的恩賜和選召是沒有後悔的。你們從前不順服神，如今因他們的不順服，你們倒蒙了憐恤。這樣，他們也是不順服，叫他們因着施給你們的憐恤，現在也就蒙憐恤。

因為被召的人多，選上的人少。」

境內剩下的人若還有十分之一，也必被吞滅，像栗樹、橡樹雖被砍伐，樹墩子卻仍存留。這聖潔的種類在國中也是如此。

因為我必聚集萬國與耶路撒冷爭戰，城必被攻取，房屋被搶奪，婦女被玷污，城中的民一半被擄去；剩下的民仍在城中，不致剪除。

耶和華說：這全地的人，三分之二必剪除而死，三分之一仍必存留。
