如果那些日子不減少，沒有一個人可以存活；但是為了選民，那些日子必會減少。

若不减少那日子，凡有血气的总没有一个得救的；只是为选民，那日子必减少了。

若不减少那些日子，凡血肉之躯的，就没有一个能得救；可是为了选民，那些日子将减少。

如果不缩短灾期，恐怕没有人能活命。但为了选民的缘故，灾期必被缩短。

如果不縮短那段時期，恐怕沒有一人能活命。但上帝必為祂選民的緣故，而縮短那災期。

若不是那些日子被截短了，凡是血肉之人就沒有一個能得救；但是為了蒙揀選的人的緣故，那些日子是必會被截短的。

如果那些日子不被減少，就沒有一個人能得救。可是為了那些蒙揀選的人，那些日子將被減少。

若非減其日、則無得救者、但為選民故、其日將減耳、

斯時不稍減其日、則無得救者、蓋為所選之民、此日可稍減耳、

若不稍減其日、則無一人得救、但為蒙選者、其日必減、

若不減其時日、血氣之倫、將無倖全；惟為蒙選者之故、時日必當見減。

“ If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

“ If the time had not been cut short, no one would live. But because of God’s chosen people, it will be shortened.

And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.

Unless those days were cut short, no one would be saved. But those days will be cut short because of the elect.

And if those days had not been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

Unless those days were limited, no one would survive. But those days will be limited because of the elect.

如果不是主減少那些日子，沒有一個人可以存活；但是為了自己的選民，他必使那些日子減少。

因為必有假基督和假先知出現，顯大神蹟和奇事；如果可以的話，他們連選民也要迷惑。

當號筒發出響聲，他要差派使者，把他的選民從四方，從天這邊到天那邊都招聚來。

難道神不會為晝夜呼籲他的選民伸冤嗎？難道神會耽誤他們嗎？

因此，我為了選民忍受一切，好叫他們也可以得著在基督耶穌裡的救恩，和永遠的榮耀。

雙生子還沒有生下來，善惡也沒有行出來（為要堅定神揀選人的旨意，不是由於行為，而是由於那呼召者），

耶和華這樣說：“人怎樣發現纍纍葡萄中有新酒的時候，就說：‘不要毀滅它，因為有好處在裡面’，我因我的眾僕人的緣故也必照樣而行，不把它們全都毀滅。我要從雅各中領出後裔，從猶大中領出承受我眾山的；我揀選的人必承受那地為業，我的眾僕人必在那裡居住。

弟兄們，我不願意你們對這奧祕一無所知，免得你們自以為聰明。這奧祕就是以色列人當中有一部分是硬心的，直到外族人的全數滿了；這樣，全以色列都要得救，如經上所記：“拯救者必從錫安出來，除掉雅各家的不敬虔的心；我除去他們罪惡的時候，就與他們立這樣的約。”就福音來說，因你們的緣故，他們是仇敵；就揀選來說，因祖宗的緣故，他們是蒙愛的。因為神的恩賞和呼召是決不會反悔的。正如你們從前不順服神，現在卻因著他們的不順服，你們倒蒙了憐憫；照樣，他們因著你們所蒙的憐憫，現在也不順服，使他們現在也可以蒙憐憫。

因為被召的人多，選上的人少。”

境內剩下的人，雖然只有十分之一，也必被消滅。但正如栗樹和橡樹，雖然被砍下，樹的餘幹還存留在那裡。這聖潔的苗裔，就是這國的餘幹。”

因為我必招聚列國與耶路撒冷作戰，城必被佔領，房屋被搶掠，婦女被強姦。城中的居民必有半數被擄去，剩下的人民必不會從這城裡被剪除。

全地的人必有三分之二被除滅，只有三分之一存留下來。（這是耶和華的宣告。）
