如果那些日子不减少，没有一个人可以存活；但是为了选民，那些日子必会减少。

若不减少那日子，凡有血气的总没有一个得救的；只是为选民，那日子必减少了。

若不减少那些日子，凡血肉之躯的，就没有一个能得救；可是为了选民，那些日子将减少。

如果不缩短灾期，恐怕没有人能活命。但为了选民的缘故，灾期必被缩短。

若不是那些日子被截短了，凡是血肉之人就沒有一個能得救；但是為了蒙揀選的人的緣故，那些日子是必會被截短的。

若非減其日、則無得救者、但為選民故、其日將減耳、

斯時不稍減其日、則無得救者、蓋為所選之民、此日可稍減耳、

若不稍減其日、則無一人得救、但為蒙選者、其日必減、

若不減其時日、血氣之倫、將無倖全；惟為蒙選者之故、時日必當見減。

“ If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

“ If the time had not been cut short, no one would live. But because of God’s chosen people, it will be shortened.

And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.

如果不是主减少那些日子，没有一个人可以存活；但是为了自己的选民，他必使那些日子减少。

因为必有假基督和假先知出现，显大神迹和奇事；如果可以的话，他们连选民也要迷惑。

当号筒发出响声，他要差派使者，把他的选民从四方，从天这边到天那边都招聚来。

难道神不会为昼夜呼吁他的选民伸冤吗？难道神会耽误他们吗？

因此，我为了选民忍受一切，好叫他们也可以得着在基督耶稣里的救恩，和永远的荣耀。

双生子还没有生下来，善恶也没有行出来（为要坚定神拣选人的旨意，不是由于行为，而是由于那呼召者），

耶和华这样说：“人怎样发现累累葡萄中有新酒的时候，就说：‘不要毁灭它，因为有好处在里面’，我因我的众仆人的缘故也必照样而行，不把它们全都毁灭。我要从雅各中领出后裔，从犹大中领出承受我众山的；我拣选的人必承受那地为业，我的众仆人必在那里居住。

弟兄们，我不愿意你们对这奥秘一无所知，免得你们自以为聪明。这奥秘就是以色列人当中有一部分是硬心的，直到外族人的全数满了；这样，全以色列都要得救，如经上所记：“拯救者必从锡安出来，除掉雅各家的不敬虔的心；我除去他们罪恶的时候，就与他们立这样的约。”就福音来说，因你们的缘故，他们是仇敌；就拣选来说，因祖宗的缘故，他们是蒙爱的。因为神的恩赏和呼召是决不会反悔的。正如你们从前不顺服神，现在却因着他们的不顺服，你们倒蒙了怜悯；照样，他们因着你们所蒙的怜悯，现在也不顺服，使他们现在也可以蒙怜悯。

因为被召的人多，选上的人少。”

境内剩下的人，虽然只有十分之一，也必被消灭。但正如栗树和橡树，虽然被砍下，树的余干还存留在那里。这圣洁的苗裔，就是这国的余干。”

因为我必招聚列国与耶路撒冷作战，城必被占领，房屋被抢掠，妇女被强奸。城中的居民必有半数被掳去，剩下的人民必不会从这城里被剪除。

全地的人必有三分之二被除灭，只有三分之一存留下来。（这是耶和华的宣告。）
