For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now— and never to be equaled again.

斯時也、護衛爾民之大君米迦勒將興、亦有大難、自有國以來、迄於是日、未之有也、其時爾民之中、凡名錄於册者、必蒙拯救、

是日也、昏暗晦冥、密雲深厚、有一族至、既大且強、勢若晨光布於山上、自古迄今、未有若此者、歷至萬世亦無之、

彼將仆於鋒刃、擄於諸國、耶路撒冷為異邦蹂躪、迨異邦之期滿焉、

萬軍之耶和華曰、其日將屆、火燃若爐、驕侈與作惡者、將如草芥、日至盡燬、致根與枝、靡有孑遺、

蓋我必集萬邦、與耶路撒冷戰、其城被取其室被刦、其女被玷、邑民之半、將為俘囚、其餘之民、則不見絕於邑中、維時、耶和華必出、與列邦戰、如昔日之戰焉、

耶和華必蒞臨於火、其乘輅若旋風、忿然發怒、以烈焰加譴責、蓋耶和華以火與刃、罰凡有血氣者、為耶和華所戮者眾、

七日乘以六十二後、受膏者必見絕、空諸所有、且有一君之民將至、毀城及聖所、其終若為洪水所淹、戰鬥至終、荒蕪已定、

禁我儕語異邦人、使之得救、常盈厥罪、而震怒盡臨之矣、○

蓋日將至、爾敵必築壘環爾、四週困爾、且擲爾及爾中子女於地、不遺一石於石上、以爾不知眷顧爾之日也、○

此難之後、日將冥、月無光、星隕自天、天象震動、

我必命爾亡於鋒刃、使爾屈身受戮、因我有命爾不應、有言爾不從、行我所惡、擇我所不悅也、○主耶和華曰、我僕必得食、惟爾飢餓、我僕必得飲、惟爾煩渴、我僕懽忭、惟爾愧怍、我僕心樂而謳歌、爾則心憂而哭泣、神傷而號咷、必遺爾名、為我選民藉以呪詛、主耶和華將翦滅爾、命其臣僕以新名、凡在下土為己祈福者、必向誠實之上帝而祈、凡發誓者、必指誠實之上帝而誓、蓋前難已忘、我目不復睹之、

爾宜自慎、人將付爾於公會、撻爾於會堂、且為我故、將立於侯王前而為之證、

願其筵席、變為網羅於其前、平安之時、變為機檻兮、其目昏眊不見、其腰戰慄不已兮、爾以恚忿傾之、以烈怒迫之兮、願其住址荒寂、幕無居人兮、蓋彼迫爾所擊者、道爾所傷者之苦兮、願爾以罪加於其罪、勿容與於爾義兮、願彼塗於生命册、不與義人同錄兮、

耆老歟、爾其聽此、斯土居民歟、爾其傾耳、當爾之日、或爾列祖之日、有此事乎、

一月之間、我絕三牧、蓋我心厭彼、彼心憾我也、我則曰、必不飼爾、死者聽其死、亡者聽其亡、其餘任其相食、

我儕既識真理、而故干罪、則無復有贖罪之祭、惟戰慄待鞫、及滅諸敵之烈火耳、拒摩西之律者、有二三人為證、其死無恤、況踐踏上帝子、以所由成聖之約血為俗、且狎侮施恩之神、爾意若人受刑、其重為何如乎、
