“虚伪的经学家和法利赛人哪，你们有祸了！你们洗净杯盘的外面，里面却装满了抢夺和放荡。

“经文士和法利赛人哪，你们这些伪善的人有祸了！因为你们洗净杯子、盘子的外面，里面却盛满了贪心和放纵。

“虛偽的經學家和法利賽人哪，你們有禍了！你們洗淨杯盤的外面，裡面卻裝滿了搶奪和放蕩。

『經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們潔淨杯盤的外面；裏面呢、卻滿了勒索和放縱。

「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們洗淨杯子、盤子的外面，裡面卻盛滿了貪心和放縱。

禍哉、爾偽善之士子與法利賽人乎、以爾潔杯盤之外、而內充以劫奪邪侈也、

偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾潔杯盤之外、而劫奪非義充其內、

禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾潔杯盤之外、內則充滿劫奪及非義、

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！蓋爾第潔杯盤之表、而內充貪污邪欲。

“ Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

“ How terrible for you, teachers of the law and Pharisees! You pretenders! You clean the outside of a cup and dish. But on the inside you are full of greed. You only want to satisfy yourselves.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

“ What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you are so careful to clean the outside of the cup and the dish, but inside you are filthy— full of greed and self indulgence!

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self indulgence.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full from extortion and excess.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence!

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and unrighteousness.

But the Lord said to him,“ Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness.You fools! Didn’t the one who made the outside make the inside as well?

For out of the heart come evil ideas, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.These are the things that defile a person; it is not eating with unwashed hands that defiles a person.”

And when they come from the marketplace, they do not eat unless they wash. They hold fast to many other traditions: the washing of cups, pots, kettles, and dining couches.)The Pharisees and the experts in the law asked him,“ Why do your disciples not live according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with unwashed hands?”He said to them,“ Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrine the commandments of men.’Having no regard for the command of God, you hold fast to human tradition.”He also said to them,“ You neatly reject the commandment of God in order to set up your tradition.For Moses said,‘ Honor your father and your mother,’ and,‘ Whoever insults his father or mother must be put to death.’But you say that if anyone tells his father or mother,‘ Whatever help you would have received from me is corban’( that is, a gift for God),then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother.Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like this.”

Even these men stagger because of wine, they stumble around because of beer– priests and prophets stagger because of beer, they are confused because of wine, they stumble around because of beer; they stagger while seeing prophetic visions, they totter while making legal decisions.Indeed, all the tables are covered with vomit; no place is untouched.
