你們這些瞎眼的愚昧人哪，到底是金子大，還是使金子成聖的聖所大呢？

無知的瞎子啊！金子重要呢？還是使金子神聖的聖殿重要呢？

傻子瞎子啊，甚麼是較大的？是金子呢？還是那使金子成聖別的殿堂呢？

你們這些又愚拙又瞎眼的人哪，到底哪一樣更重要呢？是金子，還是使金子成聖的聖所呢？

愚而瞽者歟、孰為大、金乎、抑使金成聖之殿乎、

爾愚且瞽、金與殿、孰大乎、亦金以殿聖耳、

愚而瞽者、孰為大、金大乎、抑使金成為聖物之聖殿大乎、

何爾狂妄昏昧、一至於此！夫二者孰大、金乎？抑聖金之殿乎？

瞎眼的人哪！到底是祭物大，還是使祭物成聖的祭壇大呢？

民間的愚昧人哪！你們要留心；愚頑人哪！你們要到幾時才能明白呢？

那些犯罪而自害己命的人的香爐也是聖的，你們要把它們錘成薄片，用來包蓋祭壇；那些香爐本是他們在耶和華面前獻過的，所以已經成為聖的，並且可以給以色列作鑒戒。”於是，以利亞撒祭司把被火焚燒的人獻過的銅香爐拿起來，叫人錘成薄片，用來包蓋祭壇，

你要用這膏油抹會幕和法櫃，桌子和桌子的所有器具，燈臺和燈臺的器具，以及香壇，燔祭壇和壇上的所有器具，盆和盆座；你要使它們成聖，使它們成為至聖；凡是觸著它們的，都要成聖。
