經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們周遊了洋海旱地，使一個人成了歸依人，既歸依了，你們又使他做該入地獄的人，比你們還加倍！

「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們為了使一個人入教，走遍海洋和陸地，一旦那人成了教徒，你們就使他成為比你們加倍壞的地獄之子。

禍哉、爾偽善之士子、與法利賽人乎、以爾周行水陸、使一人進教、既進矣、乃使為地獄之人、較倍於爾也、○

偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾周行水陸、使一人進教、既進、又使為地獄之人、較倍於爾也、

禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾周行水陸、導一人進教、及進教、使之為磯很拿之人、較倍於爾也、

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也、蓋爾周行海陸、招人入教、既入、則引之為地獄子、較爾猶惡。

“ Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.

散会以后，许多犹太人和归信犹太教的虔诚人，跟从了保罗和巴拿巴。两人对他们谈话，勉励他们要恒久住在神的恩典中。

可是我告诉你们，凡是向弟兄发怒的，都要被判罪。谁若骂弟兄：‘你这蠢货！（蠢货：原文音译是“拉加”，是亚兰文侮辱别人的用语。）’，就要被公议会判罪；谁若骂：‘你这白痴！（白痴：原文是希腊文骂人的词语，但是有少数学者认为这词语是源于希伯来文，而把它音译为“魔利”，意思是“叛徒”。）’，就罪该送入烈火的地狱。

我们从前也都和他们在一起，放纵肉体的私欲，随着肉体和心意所喜好的去行；我们与别人一样，生来都是可怒的儿女。

但不顺从的犹太人，煽动外族人，激起他们仇恨的心，来反对弟兄们。

说：“你这充满各样诡诈和各样奸恶的人，魔鬼的儿子，公义的仇敌！你歪曲了主的正路，还不停止吗？

那些人热心待你们，并不是出于好意，而是想你们和我疏远，好使你们热心待他们。

那些在外表上要体面的人，他们勉强你们受割礼，不过是怕为了基督的十字架受迫害。

弗吕家、旁非利亚、埃及，并靠近古利奈的利比亚一带地方的人，客居罗马的犹太人和归信犹太教的人，

但有些犹太人，从安提阿、以哥念来，挑唆群众，用石头打保罗，以为他死了，就拖到城外去。

但犹太人嫉妒起来，招聚了一些市井流氓，纠合成群，骚动全城，冲进了耶孙的家，搜索保罗和西拉，要把他们交给民众。搜索不到他们，就把耶孙和几个弟兄，拉到地方长官那里，喊叫着说：“这些扰乱天下的人，也到这里来了，

你们是出于你们的父魔鬼，喜欢按着你们的父的私欲行事。他从起初就是杀人的凶手，不守真理，因为他心里没有真理。他说谎是出于本性，因为他本来就是说谎者，也是说谎的人的父。

但帖撒罗尼迦的犹太人，知道保罗又在比里亚宣讲神的道，就到那里去，煽动挑拨群众。

在各省各城中，王的命令和谕旨所到之处，犹大人都欢喜快乐，饮宴放假；那地的人民，有许多因为惧怕犹大人，就都自认是犹大人。

这个意见全会众都很满意，于是选出司提反，他是一位满有信心和圣灵的人，还有腓利、伯罗哥罗、尼加挪、提门、巴米拿，以及归信犹太教的安提阿人尼哥拉，

如果你的右眼使你犯罪，就把它挖出来丢掉；宁可失去身体的一部分，胜过全身被丢进地狱里。
