“ But woe to you, experts in the law and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You keep locking people out of the kingdom of heaven! For you neither enter nor permit those trying to enter to go in.

“ Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

哀哉明律士！爾曹奪去知識之管籥、己不願進、亦不容人之進也。』

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！蓋爾葺先知之塋、飾義士之塚、

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！蓋爾猶粉堊之塋、外形雖美、內充屍骸諸穢。

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！蓋爾斤斤於薄荷、蘹香、蒔蘿、什一之輸、而於律中綱要、如正義、仁慈、信德、則漠然置之。彼固當行、此亦焉可廢哉？

自此耶路撒冷教會受迫益甚；宗徒而外、盡散處猶太沙瑪里各地。

吾兒亦當加意提防、此人乃吾教之勁敵也。

二者孰孝？』對曰：『長子。』耶穌曰：『吾實語爾、稅吏娼妓、將先爾曹入天主國。蓋如望以義路開導於爾、爾不之信；而稅吏娼妓、則信之矣。爾見其事。猶未能悔悟而起信也。

於是若輩復召夙盲之人、而語之曰：『汝其以天主光榮為懷！吾人明知彼乃罪人。』

奉派者曰：『人之論道、未有如斯人之所言者也！』法利塞人曰：『得毋爾曹亦受其熒惑乎！夫薦紳先生、及法利塞人有信之者乎？惟彼眾庶、昧於律法、其亦可詛也已！』尼閣德睦即暮夜晉謁耶穌者、當時亦在其間、乃謂之曰：『未先聽訟、一究其所行、吾法豈能遽加以罪乎？』法利塞人應之曰：『汝亦加利利人耶？汝試一檢群經、應知加利利非出先知之地也！』

斯輩猶太人既殘殺主耶穌基督及眾先知、又復逐我同人、實天主之逆子、而人類之公敵也。吾儕欲傳道於異邦人以弘濟蒼生、若輩乃予以阻撓；因是若輩惡貫滿盈、而天主之盛怒、已臨其身矣。

『吾未嚴禁爾曹勿復奉斯名而教人乎？今則反以其道徧傳耶路撒冷、豈欲以其人之血歸諸吾身乎？』

眾然其言、召宗徒至命毋奉名傳道、笞而釋之。

父母之作此語、以懾於猶太人耳。蓋猶太人時已有成議、有敢認耶穌為基督者、必開除其教籍；

哀哉法利塞！蓋爾於會堂喜居首席、於市衢樂受人敬也。哀哉爾曹！正如掩埋之墓穴、人履其上而不之覺也。』

若輩心術已壞、喪失信德、反抗真道、正如昔日亞乃芒伯之反抗摩西也。

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！爾曹向眾緊閉天國、己既不進、又阻人之進。

眾曰：『汝以負罪而生之身、乃欲予吾儕以教訓耶？』遂相與擯而出之。

而以呂馬（譯言巫者）仇之、欲阻方伯信道。
