“因此，大卫如果称基督为‘主’，基督怎么会是大卫的后裔呢？”

大衛既稱他為主，他怎麼又是大衛的子孫呢？」

既然大衛稱基督為主，基督又怎麼會是大衛的後裔呢？」

“大衛既然稱他為主，他怎麼又是大衛的子孫呢？”

「因此，大衛如果稱基督為『主』，基督怎麼會是大衛的後裔呢？」

夫大衛既稱之為主、則如何為大衛裔乎、

夫大闢既稱基督為主、則基督如何為大闢裔乎、

大衛既稱基督為主、則基督如何為大衛之裔乎、

夫大維既稱之為主、又安得為其裔乎？』眾不能答；自此不敢復詰。

So if David calls him‘ Lord,’ how can he be David’s son?”

If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”

Since David called the Messiah‘ my Lord,’ how can the Messiah be his son?”

“ If David calls him‘ Lord,’ how, then, can he be his son?”

Therefore, if David calls Him‘ Lord,’ how is He his son?”

If David then calls Him‘ Lord,’ how is He his Son?”

If David then calleth him Lord, how is he his son?

“ If David calls Him‘ Lord,’ how then can the Messiah be his Son?”

If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

If David then calls him‘ Lord,’ how can he be his son?”

“ If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”

regarding his Son, who as to his earthly life was a descendant of David,and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God in power by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.

“ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death— that is, the devil—

“ Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered,“ before Abraham was born, I am!”

Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of the Messiah, who is God over all, forever praised! Amen.
