主對我主說：你坐在我的右邊，等我把你仇敵放在你的腳下。

「主對我主說了：你坐在我右邊，等我處置你仇敵在你腳下」呢？

大闢有言曰、主謂我主云、坐我右、我將以爾敵置爾足下焉、

大衛有言曰、主謂我主云、坐我右、俟我使爾之敵為爾足凳云、

“‘ The Lord said to my Lord:“ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.”’

“‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’?

‘ The Lord said to my Lord, Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies beneath your feet.’

The Lord declared to my Lord,‘ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet’?

‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at My right hand, Until I put Your enemies under Your feet” ’?

‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”’?

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I put thine enemies underneath thy feet?

The Lord declared to my Lord,‘ Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet’?

The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

‘ The Lord said to my lord,“ Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’?

‘ The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet?’

The Lord says to my lord,“ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.”

God never said to an angel,“ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.”( Psalm 110:1)

David did not go up to heaven. But he said,“‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit at my right hand.I will put your enemies under your control.” ’( Psalm 110:1)

Christ must rule until he has put all his enemies under his control.

Let us keep looking to Jesus. He is the one who started this journey of faith. And he is the one who completes the journey of faith. He paid no attention to the shame of the cross. He suffered there because of the joy he was looking forward to. Then he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The Son is the shining brightness of God’s glory. He is the exact likeness of God’s being. He uses his powerful word to hold all things together. He provided the way for people to be made pure from sin. Then he sat down at the right hand of the King, the Majesty in heaven.

Jesus our priest offered one sacrifice for sins for all time. Then he sat down at the right hand of God.And since that time, he waits for his enemies to be put under his control.

I will make you and the woman hate each other. Your children and her children will be enemies. Her son will crush your head. And you will bite his heel.”

Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies. They had gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army.But the beast and the false prophet were captured. The false prophet had done signs for the beast. In this way the false prophet had tricked some people. Those people had received the mark of the beast and had worshiped its statue. The beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire. The lake of fire burns with sulfur.The rest were killed by the sword that came out of the rider’s mouth. All the birds stuffed themselves with the dead bodies.I saw an angel coming down out of heaven. He had the key to the Abyss. In his hand he held a heavy chain.He grabbed the dragon, that old serpent. The serpent is also called the devil, or Satan. The angel put him in chains for 1,000 years.Then he threw him into the Abyss. He locked it and sealed him in. This was to keep Satan from causing the nations to believe his lies anymore. Satan will be locked away until the 1,000 years are ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

I saw a great white throne. And I saw God sitting on it. When the earth and sky saw his face, they ran away. There was no place for them.I saw the dead, great and small, standing in front of the throne. Books were opened. Then another book was opened. It was the book of life. The dead were judged by what they had done. The things they had done were written in the books.The sea gave up the dead that were in it. And Death and Hell gave up their dead. Each person was judged by what they had done.Then Death and Hell were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death.Anyone whose name was not written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Even more, I consider everything to be nothing compared to knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. To know him is worth much more than anything else. Because of him I have lost everything. But I consider all of it to be garbage so I can know Christ better.

Who is this man coming from the city of Bozrah in Edom? His clothes are stained bright red. Who is he? He is dressed up in all his glory. He is marching toward us with great strength. The Lord answers,“ It is I. I have won the battle. I am mighty. I have saved my people.”Why are your clothes red? They look as if you have been stomping on grapes in a winepress.The Lord answers,“ I have been stomping on the nations as if they were grapes. No one was there to help me. I walked all over the nations because I was angry. That is why I stomped on them. Their blood splashed all over my clothes. So my clothes were stained bright red.I decided it was time to pay back Israel’s enemies. The year for me to set my people free had come.I looked around, but no one was there to help me. I was shocked that no one gave me any help. So I used my own power to save my people. I had the strength to do it because I was angry.I walked all over the nations because I was angry with them. I made them drink from the cup of my great anger. I poured out their blood on the ground.”

We are sending this letter to you, the members of God’s church in Corinth. You have been made holy because you belong to Christ Jesus. God has chosen you to be his holy people. He has done the same for all people everywhere who pray to our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is their Lord and ours.

When you appear for battle, you will burn them up like they were in a flaming furnace. The Lord will swallow them up in his great anger. His fire will burn them up.

Thomas said to him,“ My Lord and my God!”

And what about my enemies who did not want me to be king over them? Bring them here! Kill them in front of me!’ ”

Ask me, and I will give the nations to you. All nations on earth will belong to you.You will break them with an iron scepter. You will smash them to pieces like clay pots.”
