耶穌回答說：「『你要全心、全情、全意愛主——你的上帝』，

他回答：“你要全心、全性、全意愛主你的神。

耶穌對他說：『要用你完全的心、完全的性命、完全的精神、愛主你的上帝。

耶穌對他說：「『你要以全心、全靈、全意愛主——你的神』，

曰、當盡心、盡性、盡意、愛主爾之上帝、

耶穌曰、當一心、一性、一意、愛主爾之上帝、

耶穌曰、爾當盡心盡性盡意愛主爾之天主、

對曰：『「盡爾之心、盡爾之情、盡爾之知、以愛爾上主天主。」

Jesus replied:“‘ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

“ And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— our faith.Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

“ This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,”then He adds,“ Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
