對曰：『「盡爾之心、盡爾之情、盡爾之知、以愛爾上主天主。」

And now, Israel, what doth Jehovah thy God require of thee, but to fear Jehovah thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve Jehovah thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

And Jehovah thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments.For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith.And who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws on their heart, And upon their mind also will I write them; then saith he,And their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be:
