“ Caesar’s,” they replied. Then he said to them,“ So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

耶穌曰、爾當盡心盡性盡意愛主爾之天主、

我子、當畏主而尊王、勿與叛逆之人交、

既至穴旁、哀呼但以理曰、永生天主之僕但以理、爾所恆事之天主、能救爾脫於獅乎、但以理曰、願王萬歲、我之天主、遣其使者閉獅之口、使獅不傷我、因我無辜於天主前、我於王前、亦未行不善、王欣喜不勝、命取但以理出穴、遂取之出穴、其身毫無所傷、因信其天主也、

訟之曰、我見此人惑民、禁納稅於該撒、自稱為王基督、

沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌、對王曰、尼布甲尼撒歟、王此言我儕不必答之、或作沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌對尼布甲尼撒王曰論及斯事我儕不必答王有我所事之天主、能救我於炎烈之火窰、脫我於王手、即不然、王亦當知我儕不事王之神、不拜王所立之金像、

曰、人豈可欺天主哉、惟爾曹欺我、爾曹曰、在何事欺主、答曰、在當納之什一、在當獻之禮物、爾曹通國之民被咒詛、乃因欺我故、萬有之主曰、爾以所當納之什一、悉入於倉庫、使我室有糧、以是試我、觀我果否觀我果否或作待我為爾啟天之窗、使福傾注於爾曹、豐盈富餘、不可勝數、不可勝數原文作致無處足以容之
