他们回答：“凯撒的。”他就对他们说：“凯撒的应当归给凯撒，神的应当归给神。”

他们回答说：“是凯撒的。”耶稣对他们说：“那么，凯撒的归给凯撒；神的归给神。”

他們說：「是凱撒的。」於是耶穌說：「這樣，凱撒的歸凱撒；上帝的歸上帝。」

他們說：「是凱撒的。」於是耶穌說：「這樣，凱撒的歸凱撒；神的歸神。」

他們說：「凱撒的。」耶穌說：「那麼，屬於凱撒的東西應該給凱撒，屬於上帝的東西應該給上帝。」

他們回答：“凱撒的。”他就對他們說：“凱撒的應當歸給凱撒，神的應當歸給神。”

他們說：『該撒的。』於是耶穌對他們說：『那就把該撒的東西納給該撒，把上帝的東西納給上帝吧。』

他們回答說：「是凱撒的。」耶穌對他們說：「那麼，凱撒的歸給凱撒；神的歸給神。」

曰該撒、曰、然則以該撒之物納該撒、以上帝之物納上帝矣、

曰、屬該撒、耶穌曰、然則屬該撒者當歸該撒、屬天主者當歸天主、

曰：『凱撒也。』曰：『當以凱撒之物歸凱撒、而以天主之物歸天主。』

“ Caesar’s,” they replied. Then he said to them,“ So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

“ Caesar’s,” they replied. Then he said to them,“ So give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. And give back to God what belongs to God.”

They said,“ Caesar’s.” Then he said to them,“ Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

“ Caesar’s,” they replied.“ Well, then,” he said,“ give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God.”

“ Caesar’s,” they said to him. Then he said to them,“ Give, then, to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

They* said to Him,“ Caesar’s.” Then He* said to them,“ Then pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s.”

They said to Him,“ Caesar’s.” And He said to them,“ Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

They say unto him, Cæsar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Cæsar the things that are Cæsar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.

“ Caesar’s,” they said to Him. Then He said to them,“ Therefore give back to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

凡人所當得的，就給他。當得糧的，給他納糧；當得稅的，給他上稅；當懼怕的，懼怕他；當恭敬的，恭敬他。

「藐視我名的祭司啊，萬軍之耶和華對你們說：兒子尊敬父親，僕人敬畏主人；我既為父親，尊敬我的在哪裏呢？我既為主人，敬畏我的在哪裏呢？你們卻說：『我們在何事上藐視你的名呢？』你們將污穢的食物獻在我的壇上，且說：『我們在何事上污穢你呢？』因你們說，耶和華的桌子是可藐視的。你們將瞎眼的獻為祭物，這不為惡嗎？將瘸腿的、有病的獻上，這不為惡嗎？你獻給你的省長，他豈喜悅你，豈能看你的情面嗎？這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

耶穌對他說：「你要盡心、盡性、盡意愛主－你的神。

彼得、約翰說：「聽從你們，不聽從神，這在神面前合理不合理，你們自己酌量吧！

我兒，你要敬畏耶和華與君王，不要與反覆無常的人結交，

臨近坑邊，哀聲呼叫但以理，對但以理說：「永生神的僕人但以理啊，你所常事奉的神能救你脫離獅子嗎？」但以理對王說：「願王萬歲！我的神差遣使者，封住獅子的口，叫獅子不傷我；因我在神面前無辜，我在王面前也沒有行過虧損的事。」王就甚喜樂，吩咐人將但以理從坑裏繫上來。於是但以理從坑裏被繫上來，身上毫無傷損，因為信靠他的神。

就告他說：「我們見這人誘惑國民，禁止納稅給凱撒，並說自己是基督，是王。」

沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌對王說：「尼布甲尼撒啊，這件事我們不必回答你，即便如此，我們所事奉的神能將我們從烈火的窰中救出來。王啊，他也必救我們脫離你的手；即或不然，王啊，你當知道我們決不事奉你的神，也不敬拜你所立的金像。」

人豈可奪取神之物呢？你們竟奪取我的供物。你們卻說：『我們在何事上奪取你的供物呢？』就是你們在當納的十分之一和當獻的供物上。因你們通國的人都奪取我的供物，咒詛就臨到你們身上。萬軍之耶和華說：你們要將當納的十分之一全然送入倉庫，使我家有糧，以此試試我，是否為你們敞開天上的窗戶，傾福與你們，甚至無處可容。

彼得說：「納。」他進了屋子，耶穌先向他說：「西門，你的意思如何？世上的君王向誰征收關稅、丁稅？是向自己的兒子呢？是向外人呢？」彼得說：「是向外人。」耶穌說：「既然如此，兒子就可以免稅了。但恐怕觸犯他們，你且往海邊去釣魚，把先釣上來的魚拿起來，開了牠的口，必得一塊錢，可以拿去給他們，作你我的稅銀。」

耶穌說：「撒但，退去吧！因為經上記着說：當拜主－你的神，單要事奉他。」

但以理知道這禁令蓋了玉璽，就到自己家裏（他樓上的窗戶開向耶路撒冷），一日三次，雙膝跪在他神面前，禱告感謝，與素常一樣。那些人就紛紛聚集，見但以理在他神面前祈禱懇求。

你們為主的緣故，要順服人的一切制度，或是在上的君王，或是君王所派罰惡賞善的臣宰。因為神的旨意原是要你們行善，可以堵住那糊塗無知人的口。你們雖是自由的，卻不可藉着自由遮蓋惡毒，總要作神的僕人。務要尊敬眾人，親愛教中的弟兄，敬畏神，尊敬君王。

彼得和眾使徒回答說：「順從神，不順從人，是應當的。
