‘ Friend,’ he asked,‘ how is it that you are here without wedding clothes?’ But the man had no reply.

就对他说：‘朋友，你到这里来怎么不穿礼服呢？’那人无言可答。

就问他，‘朋友，你来这里怎么不穿婚宴的礼服呢？’那人无言以对。

就对他说：‘朋友，你没有婚筵的礼服，怎能进到这里来呢？’他就无话可说。

就对他说：‘朋友，你进到这里来怎么没有穿婚宴的礼服呢？’那个人哑口无言。

就對他說：『朋友，你到這裏來怎麼不穿禮服呢？』那人無言可答。

就對他說：『朋友，你到這裏來怎麼不穿禮服呢？』那人無言可答。

就對他說：『朋友，你到這裏來怎麼不穿禮服呢？』那人無言可答。

就問他，『朋友，你來這裡怎麼不穿婚宴的禮服呢？』那人無言以對。

就對他說：‘朋友，你沒有婚筵的禮服，怎能進到這裡來呢？’他就無話可說。

就對他說：「同伴哪，你沒有婚筵禮服，怎麼進這裏來呢？」那人閉口無言。

就對他說：『朋友，你進到這裡來怎麼沒有穿婚宴的禮服呢？』那個人啞口無言。

謂之曰、友乎、不衣禮服、胡為乎來、其人默然、

客不衣禮服、胡為乎來、賓默然、

語之曰、友乎、爾不衣禮服何至此乎、其人默然、

謂之曰：「友、無禮服安得入此？」其人默然。

He asked,‘ How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless.

‘ Friend,’ he asked,‘ how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man couldn’t think of anything to say.

And he said to him,‘ Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.

So he said to him,‘ Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless.

and he* said to him,‘ Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless.

So he said to him,‘ Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.

and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding- garment? And he was speechless.

So he said to him,‘ Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless.

And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

And he said to him,‘ Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ But he had nothing to say.

and he said to him,‘ Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.

Jesus said,“ My friend, go ahead and do what you have come for.” Then the others grabbed Jesus and arrested him.

“ He answered one of them,‘ Friend, I haven’t been unfair! Didn’t you agree to work all day for the usual wage?

“ But I warn you— unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!

The godly will see these things and be glad, while the wicked are struck silent.

“ You say,‘ That’s not true! I haven’t worshiped the images of Baal!’ But how can you say that? Go and look in any valley in the land! Face the awful sins you have done. You are like a restless female camel desperately searching for a mate.

He brought part of the money to the apostles, claiming it was the full amount. With his wife’s consent, he kept the rest.Then Peter said,“ Ananias, why have you let Satan fill your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself.The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished. And after selling it, the money was also yours to give away. How could you do a thing like this? You weren’t lying to us but to God!”As soon as Ananias heard these words, he fell to the floor and died. Everyone who heard about it was terrified.Then some young men got up, wrapped him in a sheet, and took him out and buried him.About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.Peter asked her,“ Was this the price you and your husband received for your land?”“ Yes,” she replied,“ that was the price.”And Peter said,“ How could the two of you even think of conspiring to test the Spirit of the Lord like this? The young men who buried your husband are just outside the door, and they will carry you out, too.”Instantly, she fell to the floor and died. When the young men came in and saw that she was dead, they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.Great fear gripped the entire church and everyone else who heard what had happened.

“ He will protect his faithful ones, but the wicked will disappear in darkness. No one will succeed by strength alone.

For people like that have turned away from the truth, and their own sins condemn them.

And so at last the poor have hope, and the snapping jaws of the wicked are shut.

Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God.

“ Israel is like a thief who feels shame only when he gets caught. They, their kings, officials, priests, and prophets— all are alike in this.

So don’t make judgments about anyone ahead of time— before the Lord returns. For he will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due.

But Peter replied,“ May your money be destroyed with you for thinking God’s gift can be bought!You can have no part in this, for your heart is not right with God.Repent of your wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive your evil thoughts,for I can see that you are full of bitter jealousy and are held captive by sin.”
