謂之曰、友乎、不衣禮服、胡為乎來、其人默然、

客不衣禮服、胡為乎來、賓默然、

語之曰、友乎、爾不衣禮服何至此乎、其人默然、

謂之曰：「友、無禮服安得入此？」其人默然。

Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”Instantly she dropped dead at his feet. When the young men came in, they found her dead, carried her out, and buried her beside her husband.Then great fear came on the whole church and on all who heard these things.

He guards the steps of his faithful ones, but the wicked perish in darkness, for a person does not prevail by his own strength.

For you know that such a person has gone astray and is sinning; he is self-condemned.

So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.

Now we know that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are subject to the law, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become subject to God’s judgment.

Like the shame of a thief when he is caught, so the house of Israel has been put to shame. They, their kings, their officials, their priests, and their prophets

So don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.

But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money!You have no part or share in this matter, because your heart is not right before God.Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that, if possible, your heart’s intent may be forgiven.For I see you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by wickedness.”
