耶穌對他們說：「我問你們，在安息日行善行惡，救命害命，哪樣是合法的呢？」

「看哪！我差你們出去，如同羊進入狼羣，所以你們要機警如蛇，純真如鴿。

你們的言談要時常帶着溫和，好像用鹽調味，讓你們知道該怎樣應對每一個人。

不要照愚昧人的愚昧話回答他，免得你與他一樣。要照愚昧人的愚昧話回答他，免得他自以為有智慧。
