亞倫眾子班列如左、亞倫之子拿答、亞庇戶、以利亞撒、以大馬、亞倫存時、拿答、亞庇戶死、而無子、故以利亞撒、以大馬、供祭司職。以利亞撒之裔撒督、及以大馬之裔亞希米勒、大闢使之各供其職。以利亞撒之後、其名最著者、較以大馬尤眾、在班列中、以利亞撒得十六人、以大馬惟八人。掣籤得職、或為聖所之長、或為士師。利未族拿但業子示罵雅、職繕寫、在王與群伯、祭司利未族長撒督亞庇亞塔子亞希米勒前、核數其名、以利亞撒裔中取二人、其名最著、以大馬裔中取一人、其名最著。掣籤而得者、首耶何雅立、次耶太亞、三哈林、四宿林、五馬其亞、六米亞民、七哈割、八亞庇雅、九耶書亞、十示迦尼、十一以利亞實、十二雅金、十三合巴、十四耶示庇押、十五必迦、十六音麥、十七希悉、十八押悉、十九庇大希、二十耶西吉、二十一雅斤、二十二迦末、二十三地來雅、二十四馬西雅。咸進耶和華殿、供其役事、循厥常例、遵以色列族上帝耶和華所諭厥祖亞倫之命、斯其班列也。

復至耶路撒冷、耶穌行於殿、祭司諸長、士子、長老、就之、曰、爾以何權行是、誰賜爾此權耶、耶穌曰、我亦一言問爾、請答我、則我以何權行是告爾、約翰施洗、由天乎、由人乎、請答我、其人竊議曰、若云由天、彼必曰、曷不信之、若云由人、我又畏民、蓋民誠以約翰為先知也、遂對曰不知、耶穌曰、我亦不以何權行是告爾也、
