復至耶路撒冷、耶穌行於殿、祭司諸長士子長老、就之、曰、爾以何權行是、賜爾行此權者誰耶、耶穌曰、我試問爾一言、爾答之、我則以何權行此告爾、約翰之洗、自天乎、自人乎、爾其答之、其人竊議曰、若云自天、彼必曰、曷不信之、若云自人、則又畏民、蓋皆以約翰為先知也、遂對曰、不知也、耶穌曰、我亦不告爾以何權行是矣、
