耶穌派兩個門徒進村，並對他們說：「你們到前面的村莊去，就會看見一頭母驢拴在那裡，旁邊還有一頭驢駒。你們把牠們解開，牽到我這裡。

耶稣就打发两个门徒，对他们说：“你们往对面村子里去，必看见一匹驴拴在那里，还有驴驹同在一处；你们解开，牵到我这里来。

謂之曰、爾往前村、必見牝驢縶焉、並有小驢同在、解而牽之來、

曰：『爾往前村、將見一驢繫焉、有𩦺與俱；可釋而牽之俱來。

saying to them,“ Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me.

He said to them,“ Go to the village ahead of you. As soon as you get there, you will find a donkey tied up. Her colt will be with her. Untie them and bring them to me.

saying to them,“ Go into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.

“ Go into the village over there,” he said.“ As soon as you enter it, you will see a donkey tied there, with its colt beside it. Untie them and bring them to me.

telling them,“ Go into the village ahead of you. At once you will find a donkey tied there with her colt. Untie them and bring them to me.

saying to them,“ Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied there and a colt with it. Untie them and bring them to Me.

saying to them,“ Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me.

saying unto them, Go into the village that is over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

telling them,“ Go into the village ahead of you. At once you will find a donkey tied there, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to Me.

對他們說：「你們去前面的村莊，一進村就會看見一頭從來沒有人騎過的驢駒拴在那裡，你們把牠解開牽來。若有人問你們為什麼這樣做，就說，『主要用牠，很快會把牠送回來。』」

祂母親對僕人說：「祂叫你們做什麼，你們就做什麼。」那裡有六口猶太人用來行潔淨禮儀的石缸，每口可以盛約一百升水。耶穌對僕人說：「把缸倒滿水！」他們就往缸裡倒水，一直滿到缸口。耶穌又說：「現在可以舀些出來，送給宴席總管。」他們就送了去。

耶穌就派了兩個門徒，並囑咐他們：「你們進城會看到一個人帶著一瓶水迎面而來，你們就跟著他。他進哪一家，你們也跟著進去，對那家的主人說，『我們的老師問你，祂的客房在哪裡，祂要和門徒在裡面吃逾越節的晚餐。』主人會帶你們到樓上一間布置整齊的大房間，你們就在那裡準備吧。」兩個門徒出去，進了城，所遇見的果然和耶穌所說的一樣。他們預備了逾越節的晚餐。

「你們去前面的村莊，進村的時候，必看見一頭從來沒有人騎過的驢駒拴在那裡，你們把牠解開牽來。若有人問你們為什麼把牠解開，就說，『主要用牠。』」兩個門徒出去後，所遇見的情形正如耶穌所說的。

耶穌說：「你們進城去，到某人那裡對他說，『老師說祂的時候到了，祂要與門徒在你家中過逾越節。』」
