又設一喻曰：『有植鳳菓樹於葡萄園者、至而覓菓、無所得。爰謂園丁曰：「予於此樹求實三載、卒無所得、不如斫之、何曠土為。」園丁對曰：「主、今春姑留、待我疏其周圍之土、而糞之、是後倘亦結實歟。不然、則決予斫除。」』

今斧斤已加樹根矣、凡不結嘉實之樹、悉將伐而付諸一炬。』

在爾等愛席之上、彼必與共、惟有恣其口腹、靦然自飽、以玷爾清潔耳。此輩實同無雨之雲、為風所逐；秋後之樹、不結果實；外枯中乾、根株盡拔。

譬如地土、甘霖時降、飽受滋潤、而產百穀、有益於耕耘之人、則天主福焉。若其產荊棘蒺藜、則必被棄置、服咒詛結果亦惟有付諸一炬而已矣。

枝之在我、而不結實者、彼則截之；其結實者、彼則裁之、使結實彌茂。

夫既因認識吾主耶穌基督、而脫濁世之習氣、今復重入羅網、從此休矣！且其晚節必有較前更醜者焉。蓋與其知道而背命、孰若初未聞道之為愈乎？諺云：「犬有所吐、轉復茹之；母豬方潔、又入泥中。」此言茲若人之儔歟。

外飾虔誠之貌內實麻木不仁。此類之人、務望吾兒避之若浼。

『汝倘能於此日、恍然了悟平安之所自、豈不美乎？奈何至今！汝目猶有所蒙也。定期將至、爾敵將周圍築壘、四面相逼、夷爾墉堞、滅爾子民、將無一片之石、仍留他石之上、凡此皆緣汝不識寵眷之日故也。』
