众人前呼后拥，欢呼着说：“和散那归于大卫的后裔！奉主名来的当受称颂！和散那归于至高之处的上帝！”

百姓中有几个法利赛人对耶稣说：“老师，你要责备你的门徒。”耶稣说：“我告诉你们，如果他们闭口不言，这些石头都要呼喊了！”

祭司长和律法教师因为害怕百姓，便密谋如何杀害耶稣。

到了清晨，众祭司长和民间的长老商定要处死耶稣。

耶稣从那里往前走，有两个瞎子跟着祂，高声呼叫：“大卫的后裔啊，可怜我们吧！”

天亮后，民间的长老、祭司长和律法教师聚在一起，把耶稣押到他们的公会，

当时祭司长和法利赛人早已下令，如果有人知道耶稣在哪里，就来报告，他们好去抓祂。

圣经上不是说基督是大卫的后裔，要降生在大卫的故乡伯利恒吗？”

你惩罚的手高高举起，他们却看不见。愿他们因看见你向你子民所发的热心而感到羞愧。愿你为敌人预备的火烧灭他们。

有一天，耶稣正在圣殿里教导人、传讲福音，祭司长、律法教师和长老上前，

祭司长和律法教师听到这番话后，就策划如何杀害耶稣，只是有些怕祂，因为百姓都对祂的教导感到惊奇。

祭司长和长老却怂恿百姓要求释放巴拉巴，处死耶稣。

耶稣进了圣殿，正在教导人的时候，祭司长和民间的长老来质问祂：“你凭什么权柄做这些事？谁授权给你了？”

法利赛人彼此议论说：“我们真是枉费心思！你看，整个世界都跟着祂跑了。”

祭司长和全公会的人正在寻找假证据来控告耶稣，好定祂死罪。

“你们对基督有何看法？祂是谁的后裔？”他们答道：“大卫的后裔。”

耶稣得知法利赛人听见祂收门徒、为人施洗比约翰还多，便离开犹太回加利利。其实不是耶稣亲自施洗，而是祂的门徒施洗。

那时，祭司长和民间的长老正聚集在大祭司该亚法的府里，

祭司长和法利赛人便召开公会会议，说：“这人行了这么多神迹，我们该怎么办呢？如果让祂这样继续下去，所有的人都会信祂，那时罗马人一定会来夺取我们的土地，掳掠我们的人民。”当年担任大祭司的该亚法对他们说：“你们什么都不懂！
