耶穌一進聖殿就趕出在裏面做買賣的人，對他們說：「經上說：『我的殿是禱告的殿，你們倒使它成為賊窩了。』」耶穌天天在聖殿裏教導人。祭司長、文士和百姓的領袖都想殺他，

他們來到耶路撒冷。耶穌一進聖殿，就趕出在聖殿裏做買賣的人，推倒兌換銀錢之人的桌子和賣鴿子之人的凳子；也不許人拿着器具從聖殿裏經過。他教導他們說：「經上不是記着：『我的殿要稱為萬國禱告的殿嗎？你們倒使它成為賊窩了。』」祭司長和文士聽見這話，就想法子要除掉耶穌，卻又怕他，因為眾人都對他的教導感到驚奇。

「人獻給耶和華的供物若以鳥為燔祭，就要獻斑鳩或雛鴿為他的供物。

「若他的力量不夠獻一隻綿羊，就要為所犯的罪，把兩隻斑鳩或是兩隻雛鴿獻給耶和華為贖愆祭：一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭。

婦人的能力若不足，無法獻一隻羔羊，她就要取兩隻斑鳩或兩隻雛鴿，一隻為燔祭，一隻為贖罪祭。祭司要為她贖罪，她就潔淨了。」

又要照主的律法上所說，用一對斑鳩，或用兩隻雛鴿獻祭。

當耶和華－你的神賜福給你的時候，耶和華－你神選擇立他名的地方若離你太遠，路途太長，使你不能把這東西帶到那裏去，你可以把它換成銀子，把銀子包起來，拿在手中，往耶和華－你神所選擇的地方去。在那裏，你可以隨心所欲用銀子或買牛羊，或買清酒烈酒，或買任何你心所想的。你和你的全家要在耶和華－你神面前吃喝歡樂。

每一個被數的人要按照聖所的舍客勒，付半舍客勒，一舍客勒是二十季拉；這半舍客勒是獻給耶和華的禮物。

第八天，他要帶兩隻斑鳩或兩隻雛鴿，來到耶和華面前，在會幕門口把鳥交給祭司。

他又要照手頭財力所及，取兩隻斑鳩或兩隻雛鴿，一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭。

「他的力量若不夠獻兩隻斑鳩或兩隻雛鴿，就要為所犯的罪把供物，就是十分之一伊法細麵，獻上為贖罪祭；不可加上油，也不可加上乳香，因為這是贖罪祭。
