As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,

And after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey away.

Now during the day He was teaching in the temple, but at evening He would go out and spend the night on the mountain that is called Olivet.

On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west forming a very large valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and the other half toward the south.

And He came out and went, as was His habit, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him.

And as they* approached Jerusalem, at Bethphage and Bethany, near the Mount of Olives, He* sent two of His disciples,and* said to them,“ Go into the village opposite you, and immediately as you enter it you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.And if anyone says to you,‘ Why are you doing this?’ say,‘ The Lord has need of it’; and immediately he will send it back here.”They went away and found a colt tied at the door, outside in the street; and they* untied it.And some of the bystanders were saying to them,“ What are you doing, untying the colt?”And they told them just as Jesus had said, and they gave them permission.They* brought the colt to Jesus and* put their cloaks on it; and He sat on it.And many people spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches which they had cut from the fields.And those who went in front and those who followed were shouting:“ Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord;Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David; Hosanna in the highest!”

After Jesus said these things, He was going on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.When He approached Bethphage and Bethany, near the mountain that is called Olivet, He sent two of the disciples,saying,“ Go into the village ahead of you; there, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, on which no one yet has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.And if anyone asks you,‘ Why are you untying it?’ you shall say this:‘ The Lord has need of it.’ ”So those who were sent left and found it just as He had told them.And as they were untying the colt, its owners said to them,“ Why are you untying the colt?”They said,“ The Lord has need of it.”And they brought it to Jesus, and they threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it.Now as He was going, they were spreading their cloaks on the road.And as soon as He was approaching, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen,shouting:“ Blessed is the King, the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

And after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
