他们就挨近约瑟的管家，在屋门口与他说话。

因为，身为神的管家，做监督的必须无可指责、不任性、不暴躁、不酗酒、不好斗、不贪图不正当的利益；

接着，我看见一个白色的大宝座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都从他面前逃避，连它们的地方也找不到了。我又看见死去的人，无论尊贵卑微，都站在那宝座前。书卷都打开了；另有一个书卷也打开了，这就是生命册。死去的人都凭着书卷中所记的，照着他们的行为受审判。

神将照着各人的行为回报各人：对那些恒心行善，寻求荣耀、尊贵、不朽的，就以永恒的生命回报他们；而对那些营私争竞、不肯信从真理、反信从不义的，就以震怒和愤恨回报他们。神要把患难和困苦加给一切作恶之人的灵魂，先是犹太人的，后是外邦人的；而把荣耀、尊贵、平安赐给所有做美善事的人，先是犹太人，后是外邦人。

撒稗子的仇敌是魔鬼，收割的季节是世代的终结，收割的人是天使。就像稗子被拔出来用火烧掉，在这世代的终结也将是这样。

“当人子在他的荣耀中，与所有的天使一起来临的时候，他那时就要坐在他荣耀的宝座上。

因为我们大家都必须站在基督的审判台前，好使每个人都为自己藉着身体所做的，或善或恶，领受回报。

主说：“究竟谁是那又忠心又聪明的管家——受主人委任统管他家人、按时分发粮食的人呢？

照样，基督为了担当众人的罪孽，也被献上一次；将来还要再一次显现，不是为了罪，而是为了使那些热切等待他的人得到救恩。

你们当住在那一家，吃喝他们所供给的，因为工人配得自己的酬报。不要从这家搬到那家。

又有希律的管家苦撒的妻子约亚娜，以及苏珊娜和许多别的妇女，她们都用自己所拥有的来服事耶稣和门徒们。

耶稣又对门徒们说：“某财主有个管家，这个管家被人控告挥霍主人的财产。财主就把管家叫来，对他说：‘我听到有关你的事，到底是什么？把你所管理的做出交代，因为你不能再当管家了。’

亚伯兰说：“主耶和华啊，你要赐给我什么呢？我一直没有孩子，我家业的继承人是大马士革人以利以谢。”

这样，人应该把我们看做是基督的仆人、神奥秘之事的管家。在这里，进一步要求管家们的是，各人都要被看做是忠心的。

约瑟就在他主人的眼前蒙恩，事奉他的主人。他主人指派他管理自己的家，把自己所拥有的一切都交在他的手中。自从波提乏指派约瑟管理家和所拥有的一切，耶和华就因约瑟的缘故祝福了那埃及人的家；无论在家里或在田间，他所拥有的一切都蒙耶和华的祝福。他把自己所拥有的一切都交托在约瑟的手中；有约瑟在，他除了自己吃的饭以外，什么事都不理会。约瑟有着健美的身材、俊美的容貌。

“过了很久，那些奴仆的主人回来，与他们清算账目。

每个人要照着自己所领受的恩赐来彼此服事，做神各种恩典的好管家。
