不可欺壓鄰居，也不可搶奪他的東西。要當天支付雇工的工錢，不可拖到第二天。

你們要在每天日落前付給他們工錢，因為他們窮苦，靠工錢維生；否則他們向耶和華控訴你們，你們就有罪了。

他們走到約瑟的管家跟前，在房門口對他說：

身為上帝的管家，作監督的必須無可指責，不傲慢，不暴躁，不酗酒，不好鬥，不貪財。

我又看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得無影無蹤。我又看見死去的人，不論尊卑老少，都站在寶座前面。案卷都展開了，另有一卷，就是生命冊也打開了。死去的人都要憑案卷中有關他們行為的記錄受審判。

上帝必照各人的行為施行賞罰。凡是恆心行善、尋求榮耀、尊貴和永恆福分的人，祂要把永生賜給他們；至於那些自私自利、違背真理、行為不義的人，祂的烈怒和怒氣要降在他們身上。一切作惡之人必受患難和痛苦，先是猶太人，然後是希臘人。祂要將榮耀、尊貴和平安賜給一切行善的人，先是猶太人，然後是希臘人。

撒毒麥的仇敵就是魔鬼。收割的日子便是世界的末日，收割的工人就是天使。「毒麥怎樣被拔出來丟在火裡燒，同樣，在世界末日的時候，

「當人子在祂的榮耀中與眾天使降臨的時候，祂要坐在榮耀的寶座上，

因為我們所有的人都要出現在基督的審判台前，好按照各人在肉身之時所行的善惡接受賞罰。

主說：「誰是那個受主人委託管理家中大小僕役、按時分糧食給他們、又忠心又精明的管家呢？

同樣，基督為了承擔世人的罪，也曾一次獻上自己。祂還要再來，不是來除罪，而是來拯救那些熱切等候祂的人。

不要搬來搬去，要固定住在一家，接受那家的款待，因為工人理應得到工錢。

還有希律的管家苦撒的妻子約亞娜，此外還有蘇珊娜等其他婦女。她們用自己的錢財資助耶穌和門徒。

耶穌又對門徒說：「某財主有個管家，有人控告這管家浪費主人的財物。財主便把管家召來，對他說，『聽說你浪費我的財物，到底是怎麼回事？把帳目交代清楚，你不能再當管家了。』

亞伯蘭說：「主耶和華啊，你要賜我什麼呢？我沒有兒子，繼承我家業的人是大馬士革人以利以謝。」

因此，人應該把我們當作是基督的僕人，是上帝奧祕之事的管家。對管家的要求是忠心。

就賞識他，讓他服侍自己，派他管理自己家中一切事務。自從埃及人波提乏派約瑟管理自己家中一切事務以後，耶和華因為約瑟的緣故而賜福他主人家，使他主人家裡和田間的一切都蒙福。於是，波提乏把一切事都交給約瑟管理，除了自己要吃的食物以外，什麼也不管。約瑟體格健壯，相貌英俊。

過了很久，這些奴僕的主人回來了，要跟他們結帳。

按著自己所得的恩賜彼此服侍，作上帝各樣恩典的好管家。
