“‘ Because no one has hired us,’ they answered.“ He said to them,‘ You also go and work in my vineyard.’

They said to him,‘ Because no one has hired us.’ He said to them,‘ You go into the vineyard too.’

“ They replied,‘ Because no one hired us.’“ The landowner told them,‘ Then go out and join the others in my vineyard.’

“‘ Because no one hired us,’ they said to him.“‘ You also go into my vineyard,’ he told them.

They* said to him,‘ Because no one hired us.’ He* said to them,‘ You go into the vineyard too.’

They said to him,‘ Because no one hired us.’ He said to them,‘ You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.’

They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard.

“‘ Because no one hired us,’ they said to him.“‘ You also go to my vineyard,’ he told them.

They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right,[ that] shall ye receive.

They said to him,‘ Because no one hired us.’ He said to them,‘ You go and work in the vineyard too.’

“ They said to him,‘ Because no one has hired us.’“ He said to them,‘ You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.’

爾曹為天主名勤勞而施仁愛、素供事聖徒、今仍供事之、天主非不義、必不忘爾之工、

故爾曹當記憶、爾按本身昔為異邦人、彼稱為受割禮之人、即身受手行之割禮者、譏爾曹未受割禮、當時爾與基督相離、在以色列民中無分、與所應許之諸約無與、無有所望、處世而無天主、

然未信之、何能籲之、未聞之、何能信之、無傳者、何能聞乎、未奉遣、何能傳乎、如經載云、傳和平告嘉音者、其足跡何其美哉、但此福音、非皆聽受、以賽亞云、主、我所傳聞、信之者誰、由是觀之、信由聞而來、聞由天主之道而來、

此二人、將何以處之、彼顯行異跡、耶路撒冷居民悉知之、我儕亦不能言其無也、

即歷世歷代隱秘之奧妙、今顯示於其聖徒者、

惟天主能堅爾曹、循我所宣之福音、所傳耶穌基督之道、即按所顯示亙古以來隱秘之奧、

僕歸、以此諸言告主人、主人怒、命僕曰、速往邑之衢巷、引諸貧乏、殘廢、瞽者、跛者來、僕曰、主人、如爾命已行、尚有餘座、主人語僕曰、出往道途及藩籬間、遇人則強之入、俾滿我室、

凡爾手所經營之事、當盡力經營、因爾所將往之示阿勒、示阿勒有譯黃泉有譯陰府有譯墳墓無經營、無計謀、無知識、無智慧、○

時尚晝、我當行遣我者之事、夜至、則無人能行矣、

往時世人蒙昧、天主不究、今乃命眾隨在悔改、蓋天主已定一日、欲藉所立之人、按公義審判天下、且使其由死復活、而賜萬民以可信之證、○

此奧妙乃前古之世未示於人、今則以聖神顯示其聖使徒及先知、即異邦人、同為嗣子、同為一體、賴福音共享天主因耶穌所許之福、

可往通衢、無論遇誰、皆請之赴筵、僕出途間、集凡所遇者、或善或惡、致婚筵賓滿、

因知各人所行之善、無論為奴者、自主者、必循其所行而受報於主、
