凡是你手當做的，你都當極力去做；因為在你必去的陰間沒有工作，沒有籌劃，沒有知識，也沒有智慧。

懶惰使人陷入沉睡，懶散的人必會挨餓。

另一個就應聲斥責他，說：「你既然同樣受懲罰，還不怕神嗎？我們受刑理所應當，因為我們所受的與我們所做的相稱。但這個人卻沒有做過什麼壞事。」他接著說：「耶穌啊，你進了你國度的時候，求你記念我。」耶穌對他說：「我確實地告訴你：今天你要與我一起在樂園裡了。」
