He said to them,‘ You go into the vineyard too, and I will give you whatever is right.’

謂之曰：「爾等亦往我園中、當與爾以應得之值。」

He told them,‘ You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’

He told them,‘ You also go and work in my vineyard. I’ll pay you what is right.’

and to them he said,‘ You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right I will give you.’

So he hired them, telling them he would pay them whatever was right at the end of the day.

He said to them,‘ You also go into my vineyard, and I’ll give you whatever is right.’ So off they went.

and to those he said,‘ You go into the vineyard also, and whatever is right, I will give you.’ And so they went.

and said to them,‘ You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went.

and to them he said, Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

To those men he said,‘ You also go to my vineyard, and I’ll give you whatever is right.’ So off they went.

And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

He said to them,‘ You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went their way.

Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness?But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were entrusted to,and having been freed from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness.( I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh.) For just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification.For when you were slaves of sin, you were free with regard to righteousness.So what benefit did you then reap from those things that you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death.But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life.

Therefore, get your minds ready for action by being fully sober, and set your hope completely on the grace that will be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed.

And when the people saw it, they all complained,“ He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.”But Zacchaeus stopped and said to the Lord,“ Look, Lord, half of my possessions I now give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone of anything, I am paying back four times as much!”Then Jesus said to him,“ Today salvation has come to this household, because he too is a son of Abraham!For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

I am grateful to the one who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he considered me faithful in putting me into ministry,even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I was treated with mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief,

Masters, treat your slaves with justice and fairness, because you know that you also have a master in heaven.

As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax booth.“ Follow me,” he said to him. And he got up and followed him.

Now after Jesus entered the temple courts, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to him as he was teaching and said,“ By what authority are you doing these things, and who gave you this authority?”Jesus answered them,“ I will also ask you one question. If you answer me then I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.Where did John’s baptism come from? From heaven or from people?” They discussed this among themselves, saying,“ If we say,‘ From heaven,’ he will say,‘ Then why did you not believe him?’But if we say,‘ From people,’ we fear the crowd, for they all consider John to be a prophet.”So they answered Jesus,“ We don’t know.” Then he said to them,“ Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.“ What do you think? A man had two sons. He went to the first and said,‘ Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’The boy answered,‘ I will not.’ But later he had a change of heart and went.The father went to the other son and said the same thing. This boy answered,‘ I will, sir,’ but did not go.Which of the two did his father’s will?” They said,“ The first.” Jesus said to them,“ I tell you the truth, tax collectors and prostitutes will go ahead of you into the kingdom of God!

Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

This saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on such truths, so that those who have placed their faith in God may be intent on engaging in good works. These things are good and beneficial for all people.

in that he spends the rest of his time on earth concerned about the will of God and not human desires.For the time that has passed was sufficient for you to do what the non- Christians desire. You lived then in debauchery, evil desires, drunkenness, carousing, drinking bouts, and wanton idolatries.
