有瞽者二人、坐道側、聞耶穌過、揚聲呼曰：『主、大維子、其垂憐焉。』

Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted,“ Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

Two blind men were sitting by the side of the road. They heard that Jesus was going by. So they shouted,“ Lord! Son of David! Have mercy on us!”

The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting,“ Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

“ Hear, you deaf, and look, you blind, that you may see.

Then one possessed by a demon, blind and mute, was brought to him and he healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.All the multitudes were amazed, and said,“ Can this be the son of David?”

Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, he would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne,

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,

We grope for the wall like the blind. Yes, we grope as those who have no eyes. We stumble at noon as if it were twilight. Among those who are strong, we are like dead men.

The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,to proclaim the year of Yahweh’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

In that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues and evil spirits; and to many who were blind he gave sight.

Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying,“ Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!”

Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.Then the lame man will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will sing; for waters will break out in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.

I will bring the blind by a way that they don’t know. I will lead them in paths that they don’t know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.

As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.His disciples asked him,“ Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”Jesus answered,“ This man didn’t sin, nor did his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him.I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud,and said to him,“ Go, wash in the pool of Siloam”( which means“ Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.The neighbors therefore, and those who saw that he was blind before, said,“ Isn’t this he who sat and begged?”Others were saying,“ It is he.” Still others were saying,“ He looks like him.” He said,“ I am he.”They therefore were asking him,“ How were your eyes opened?”He answered,“ A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me,‘ Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went away and washed, and I received sight.”Then they asked him,“ Where is he?” He said,“ I don’t know.”

As Jesus passed by from there, two blind men followed him, calling out and saying,“ Have mercy on us, son of David!”When he had come into the house, the blind men came to him. Jesus said to them,“ Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They told him,“ Yes, Lord.”Then he touched their eyes, saying,“ According to your faith be it done to you.”Their eyes were opened. Jesus strictly commanded them, saying,“ See that no one knows about this.”But they went out and spread abroad his fame in all that land.

Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.

concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of David according to the flesh,who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord,

The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

In that day, the deaf will hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind will see out of obscurity and out of darkness.
