爾意基督為何如人、是誰之裔乎、

前後眾庶呼曰、大闢之裔、萬福歟、托主名來者、當見寵也、在上者萬福矣、○

爾曹耳聾者宜聽、心盲者宜視、

時、有攜患鬼、瞽而瘖者來、耶穌醫之、瞽明瘖言、眾駭曰、此大闢之裔乎、

既為先知、即知上帝曾有誓言、由大闢裔、挺生基督以居其位、

主之神臨我、膏我、俾傳福音於貧人、傷心者醫之、

徧捫不見、無異瞽者、捫壁而行、雖在日中、亦顛其趾、無異昏暮、雖得福田、不能安享、無異死亡之輩。

受膏者曰、主耶和華以神感我、以膏沐我、俾傳福音於貧人、傷心者醫之、釋被擄於縲絏、出俘囚於囹圄、命我宣播。上帝耶和華之禧年、伸民冤抑、解民憂愁。

時耶穌醫諸疾病、及患惡神者、賜瞽者明、

其地有迦南婦、來呼曰、主、大闢之裔、矜恤我、我女患鬼、苦甚、

使瞽者明、聾者聰、跛者踊躍如鹿、瘖者謳歌不已、曠野之地、水泉洊至、

惟彼瞽者、我必相之、彼不識途、我必導之、使暗為光。使曲為直、我行如是、必不遐棄斯民。

耶穌去時、見有生而瞽者、門徒問曰、夫子、此人生而瞽、是誰之過歟、由己乎、由父母乎、耶穌曰、非瞽者之過、亦非父母之過、特假此人以顯上帝作為耳、晝時、我必為遣我者所為、夜至、則無能為、我在世、即世之光、言竟、唾於地、以唾和泥、塗瞽人目、語之曰、往洗於西羅亞池、其人往洗、反即明矣、西羅亞、譯即奉使者、○鄰人與素識其為瞽者曰、此非坐而乞者乎、有曰然、有曰貌似之、彼則曰我是也、眾曰、爾目如何得明、曰、有名耶穌者、和泥塗我目、命往洗於西羅亞池、往洗即明、眾曰、其人安在、曰、不知也、○

耶穌由是而往、有二瞽者從之、呼曰、大闢之裔、矜恤我乎、入室、瞽者就之、耶穌曰、我能為之、爾信否、曰、主、然、乃按其目曰、以爾之信、成矣、其目即明、耶穌嚴戒曰、慎勿令人知之、二人出、遍揚其名於斯地、○

矇瞶者明之、卷曲者伸之、為善者愛之兮、

乃專言其子也、以其身論之、由大闢裔而生、以聖神論之、復生而有大權、明證為上帝子、即吾主耶穌基督是、

瞽者、跛者、於殿就耶穌、耶穌醫之、

當是時、振其聾可以聞書言、啟其瞶可以察物理、昏昧悉除矣、
