Get up; he’s calling for you.”He threw off his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus.Then Jesus answered him,“ What do you want me to do for you?”“ Rabboni,” the blind man said to him,“ I want to see.”Jesus said to him,“ Go, your faith has saved you.” Immediately he could see and began to follow Jesus on the road.

As he approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging.Hearing a crowd passing by, he inquired what was happening.“ Jesus of Nazareth is passing by,” they told him.So he called out,“ Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”Then those in front told him to keep quiet, but he kept crying out all the more,“ Son of David, have mercy on me!”Jesus stopped and commanded that he be brought to him. When he came closer, he asked him,“ What do you want me to do for you?”“ Lord,” he said,“ I want to see.”“ Receive your sight.” Jesus told him.“ Your faith has saved you.”Instantly he could see, and he began to follow him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out,“ Have mercy on us, Son of David!”When he entered the house, the blind men approached him, and Jesus said to them,“ Do you believe that I can do this?” They said to him,“ Yes, Lord.”Then he touched their eyes, saying,“ Let it be done for you according to your faith.”And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus warned them sternly,“ Be sure that no one finds out.”But they went out and spread the news about him throughout that whole area.
