耶穌曰、異邦之君主其治、秉權之人稱大勛、惟爾曹不可、爾中為大者當若少、為首者當若役、孰為長、席坐者乎、役事者乎、非席坐者長乎、然我在爾中、如役事者也、

耶穌召之曰、異邦之君主其治、而大人執其權、爾所知也、爾曹不可、爾中欲為大者、當為爾役、欲為首者、當為爾僕、猶人子至、非以役人、乃役於人、且舍生為眾贖也、○

既濯門徒足、衣衣復坐、曰、我為此、爾知之乎、爾曹稱我為師為主、爾之言然、我誠是也、我為主為師、猶濯爾足、則爾曹更宜相與濯足矣、我示爾以法、使爾效我而為之、我誠告爾、僕不大於主、使者不大於使之者、爾若知此而為之、有福矣、○

耶穌召之曰、異邦之君、主其治、而大人執其權、爾所知也、

曰、我誠告爾、不反復如孩提者、不得入天國、故自謙如孩提、則於天國為大、

今爾聽角鼗琴瑟笙簫樂器之音、咸當俯伏拜我所鑄之像、則可、不然、即投爾於洪爐、諸上帝中孰一能救爾於我手、

召方伯州牧、顯宦刑官、筦庫之士、刀筆之吏、諳法之師、與眾邑宰俱至、欲釁所鑄之像、百官既集、立於像前、將行釁禮、遒人大聲呼曰、民人族姓、王命爾曹、聞角鼗琴瑟笙簫樂器之音、即當伏拜尼布甲尼撒王所鑄之金像、不然、立投爾於洪爐、維時民人族姓、聽角鼗琴瑟笙簫樂器之音、一時齊作、咸俯伏拜王所立之金像、

我溫柔謙遜、負我軛而學我、則爾心獲安、

王大怒、命取巴比倫諸哲士、置之大辟。王詔既頒、將戮哲士、遍索但以理、及其同儕、亦將加戮、

王怒益甚、勃然變色、使爇洪爐、較常者燄烈七倍、命軍中壯士束縛三人、投諸洪爐、三人受縛、不去上下內外之衣、投於洪爐、王命孔亟、洪爐倍熱、壯士反為烈燄所燬、

因其威儀、億兆族姓、戰慄於前、生殺昇降、皆出王衷、

天上上帝、賜爾秉國之鈞、能力俱備、榮光丕著為諸王之王、天下居民、野獸飛鳥、歸王掌握、所夢金首、即爾是也、後有國振興、不能與爾國頡頏、又後一國若銅、主治天下、最後一國、剛強若鐵、鐵能服百物而碎之、眾國皆為所破、爾見足指半鐵半泥、其國必分、爾見鐵雜於泥、其國之半、亦剛強若鐵、足指半泥半鐵、其國亦半強半弱、爾見鐵與泥相雜、其國人必與異邦人相參、彼此不合、猶鐵不與泥合、當彼列王之時、天上上帝、更使一國振興、永世靡暨、不為他國所取、蠶食列邦、恆存不廢、爾見石由山出、非人手所鑿、凡鐵銅金銀與泥、皆為其所摧、此乃至大之上帝、以未至之事示王、其夢乃定、其兆不易、
