耶穌謂之曰、異邦之君主其治、秉權者稱為恩主、爾則不然、爾中為大者、當若少、為首者、當若役、孰為大、席坐者乎、役事者乎、非席坐者大乎、然我在爾中如役事者也、

耶穌召之曰、異邦之君主其治、而大人執其權、爾所知也、惟爾曹不然、爾中欲為大者、當為爾役、欲為首者、當為爾僕、猶人子至、非以役人、乃役於人、且舍生為眾贖也、○

濯畢、衣而復坐、曰、我所行者、爾知之乎、爾稱我為師、為主、爾之言然、蓋我是也、我為主、為師、猶濯爾足、則爾曹亦宜相濯足也、蓋我以模楷示爾、使爾如我所行而行焉、我誠語汝、僕不大於主、使者不大於使之者、爾若知此而行之、則福矣、

耶穌召之曰、所謂君異邦者、主其治、而大人執其權、爾所知也、

我誠語汝、若不轉移如孩提、不得入天國也、故自謙如此孩提者、於天國為大也、

今爾聞角簫琵琶琴瑟笙、及各樂器之音、願伏拜我所製之像、則可、若不拜之、必即時投於烈火之爐、何神能拯爾於我手耶、

遣使召諸方伯、大臣牧伯、刑官庫司、議士士師、及諸州牧咸至、為尼布甲尼撒王所立之像、行敬奉之禮、於是方伯、大臣牧伯、刑官庫司、議士士師、及諸州牧咸集、為尼布甲尼撒王所立之像、行敬奉之禮、俱立於像前、遒人大聲呼曰、諸民諸國、諸方言者、今命爾曹、爾於何時、聞角簫琵琶琴瑟笙、及各樂器之音、即當伏拜尼布甲尼撒王所立之金像、凡不伏拜者、即時投於烈火之爐、諸民聞角簫琵琶琴瑟、及各樂器之音時、諸民諸國、諸方言者、遂伏拜尼布甲尼撒王所立之金像、

我心溫柔謙遜、宜負我軛而學我、則爾心獲安、

王因之怒、忿甚、命殲巴比倫諸哲士、王命出、將誅哲士、則索但以理、及其同儕、欲殺之、

尼布甲尼撒怒甚、向沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌變色、命爇其爐、烈較尋常七倍、亦命軍中壯士數人、縛沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌、投諸烈火之爐、三人被縛、仍衣褲袍與褻服、及他衣、投於烈火之爐、因王命孔亟、其爐甚熱、投沙得拉米煞亞伯尼歌之人、俱為火燄所斃、

因上帝所賜之大權、諸民諸國、諸方言者、咸戰慄畏懼於其前、生殺升降、隨其所欲、

王歟、爾為諸王之王、天上上帝以國以權、以能以榮賜爾、凡有居民之處、野獸飛鳥、悉付爾手、俾爾治之、金首即爾也、爾後將有一國興起、亞於爾國、又有其三之國若銅、統轄天下、復有其四之國、堅剛似鐵、夫鐵能服百物而碎之、此國亦必行破壞如鐵然、爾見其足與趾、半為陶人之泥、半為鐵者、其國必分、爾見鐵雜於泥、其國必有力如鐵然、其趾半鐵半泥、其國亦半強半弱、爾見鐵雜於泥、其民必與異族混雜、惟彼此不相洽、如鐵不與泥合然、當彼列王時、天上上帝必立一國、永不見滅、其權不歸他族、將毀前之諸國、而盡滅之、其國恆存弗替、爾見有石、自山鑿出、非由人手、擊碎鐵銅泥銀及金、斯乃惟皇上帝以未來之事示王、其夢實真、所解誠確、
