‘ But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’”

「猶太地、百利恆、猶太諸邑中、爾非最可輕；當有王者自爾出、彼將牧我義塞民。」』

“‘ But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”

“‘ But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are certainly not the least important among the towns of Judah. A ruler will come out of you. He will rule my people Israel like a shepherd.’ ”( Micah 5:2)

“‘ And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”

‘ And you, O Bethlehem in the land of Judah, are not least among the ruling cities of Judah, for a ruler will come from you who will be the shepherd for my people Israel.’”

And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the leaders of Judah: because out of you will come a leader who will shepherd My people Israel.”

And thou Bethlehem,[ in] the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

‘ And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,are in no way least among the rulers of Judah,for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”

“ But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”

Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

Has not the Scripture said that the Christ comes from the seed of David and from the town of Bethlehem, where David was?”

The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

‘ He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father;

He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

“ David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them.Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever.Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and multiply them, and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore.

I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them— My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd.And I, the Lord, will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I, the Lord, have spoken.“ I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

Also, in time past, when Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel out and brought them in; and the Lord said to you,‘ You shall shepherd My people Israel, and be ruler over Israel.’”

Out of Jacob One shall have dominion, And destroy the remains of the city.”

And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,“ Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.”He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure:“ Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”

From following the ewes that had young He brought him, To shepherd Jacob His people, And Israel His inheritance.So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

yet Judah prevailed over his brothers, and from him came a ruler, although the birthright was Joseph’s—

He said to him again a second time,“ Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him,“ Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him,“ Tend My sheep.”

I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says the Lord.“ Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,“ That I will raise to David a Branch of righteousness; A King shall reign and prosper, And execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem,
