But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee,

Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan, to be baptized by him.

As soon as the angels got them outside, one of them said,“ Run for your lives! Don’t look back and don’t stop anywhere on the plain! Run to the mountains, or you will be swept away!”But Lot said to them,“ No, my lords— please.Your servant has indeed found favor in your sight, and you have shown me great kindness by saving my life. But I can’t run to the mountains; the disaster will overtake me, and I will die.Look, this town is close enough for me to run to. It is a small place. Please let me go there— it’s only a small place, isn’t it?— so that I can survive.”And he said to him,“ All right, I’ll grant your request about this matter too and will not demolish the town you mentioned.

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He rescued them from their distress.He led them by the right path to go to a city where they could live.

But after he had considered these things, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared to him in a dream, saying,“ Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because what has been conceived in her is by the Holy Spirit.

“ This God, our God forever and ever— He will always lead us.”

And being warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their own country by another route.After they were gone, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying,“ Get up! Take the child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you. For Herod is about to search for the child to destroy Him.”

You guide me with Your counsel, and afterward You will take me up in glory.

“ Lord,” Ananias answered,“ I have heard from many people about this man, how much harm he has done to Your saints in Jerusalem.And he has authority here from the chief priests to arrest all who call on Your name.”

“ You aren’t from Galilee too, are you?” they replied.“ Investigate and you will see that no prophet arises from Galilee.”

The Lord will protect your coming and going both now and forever.

Samuel asked,“ How can I go? Saul will hear about it and kill me!” The Lord answered,“ Take a young cow with you and say,‘ I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’

This is what the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says: I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who leads you in the way you should go.If only you had paid attention to My commands. Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.

After Herod died, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

Others said,“ This is the Messiah!” But some said,“ Surely the Messiah doesn’t come from Galilee, does He?Doesn’t the Scripture say that the Messiah comes from David’s offspring and from the town of Bethlehem, where David once lived?”
