But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee,

到了城外，其中一位天使說：「趕快逃！不要回頭看，也不要留在平原，要往山上逃，免得你們被毀滅。」羅得說：「我主啊，請不要這樣。僕人蒙你厚愛、施恩相救，但我無法逃到山上，要是這災難追上我，我就沒命了！請看，那座城離這裡不遠，容易跑到，又是座小城，請讓我逃到那座小城活命吧！」天使回答說：「好吧，我答應你，不毀滅那座小城。

他們在危難中呼求耶和華，祂就拯救他們脫離困境，帶領他們走直路，到可居住的城邑。

他正在考慮這事的時候，主的一位天使在夢中向他顯現，說：「大衛的後裔約瑟，不要怕，把瑪麗亞娶過來，因為她所懷的孕是從聖靈來的。

因為上帝永永遠遠是我們的上帝，祂必引領我們，直到我們離世之日。

他們在夢中得到指示不可回希律那裡，便改道返回了家鄉。他們離開之後，主的天使在夢中向約瑟顯現，說：「起來，帶著小孩子和祂母親逃往埃及，住在那裡等候我的通知，因為希律要尋找這孩子，殺害祂。」

你以諄諄教誨指引我，以後必接我到榮耀中。

亞拿尼亞回答說：「主啊！我聽見許多人說他對耶路撒冷的信徒大加迫害。他來這裡是得到祭司長的授權，要拘捕所有求告你名的人。」

他們回答說：「難道你也是加利利人嗎？你去查查看，就會知道沒有先知是從加利利來的。」

不論你出或入，耶和華都會保護你，從現在直到永遠。

撒母耳說：「我怎麼可以去呢？掃羅知道了，一定會殺掉我。」耶和華說：「你帶一頭牛犢去，就說，『我是來向耶和華獻祭的。』

你的救贖主耶和華——以色列的聖者說：「我是你的上帝耶和華，我為了使你受益而教導你，我引導你走當行的路。真希望你當時肯聽我的命令！那樣，你的平安必像滾滾河水，你的公義必如滔滔海浪；

希律死後，主的天使在夢中向在埃及的約瑟顯現，說：

也有些人說：「祂是基督。」還有些人說：「不會吧，基督怎麼會出自加利利呢？聖經上不是說基督是大衛的後裔，要降生在大衛的故鄉伯利恆嗎？」
