“ I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you of these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is righteous and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Therefore Pilate said to Him,“ So You are a king?” Jesus answered,“ You say correctly that I am a king. For this purpose I have been born, and for this I have come into the world: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.”

For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this.

Nathanael answered Him,“ Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel!”

Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.

“ But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”

And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says,“ And let all the angels of God worship Him.”

Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor questioned Him, saying,“ So You are the King of the Jews?” And Jesus said to him,“ It is as you say.”

When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.And after they came into the house, they saw the Child with His mother Mary; and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

But they shall serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Now there was also an inscription above Him,“ THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”

shouting:“ Blessed is the King, the One who comes in the name of the Lord; Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

Then the King will crave your beauty. Because He is your Lord, bow down to Him.

Now Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It was written:“ JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”

Behold, a king will reign righteously, And officials will rule justly.Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in an exhausted land.

“ Say to the daughter of Zion,‘ Behold your King is coming to you, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”

Because of the tender mercy of our God, With which the Sunrise from on high will visit us,To shine on those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Now Pilate asked Him, saying,“ So You are the King of the Jews?” And He answered him and said,“ It is as you say.”

for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

they took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began shouting,“ Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, indeed, the King of Israel!”

As a result of this, Pilate made efforts to release Him; but the Jews shouted, saying,“ If you release this Man, you are not a friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself out to be a king opposes Caesar!”Therefore when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called The Pavement— but in Hebrew, Gabbatha.Now it was the day of preparation for the Passover; it was about the sixth hour. And he* said to the Jews,“ Look, your King!”So they shouted,“ Away with Him, away with Him, crucify Him!” Pilate* said to them,“ Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered,“ We have no king except Caesar.”

And he said,“ I believe, Lord.” And he worshiped Him.

Thomas answered and said to Him,“ My Lord and my God!”
