Jesus replied,“ Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.

He said to them,“ Because of your hardness of heart Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so.

你们又行了这事：使眼泪、哀哭和呻吟盖满了耶和华的坛，因为耶和华不再垂看礼物，也不喜悦从你们手中收纳。你们还问：“为什么呢？”因为耶和华在你和你年轻时所娶的妻子中间作证；她是你的伴侣，是你立约的妻子，你竟对她不忠！

耶和华这样说：“你们要站在路上察看，寻访远古的路径，看哪一条是美善的路，就走在其中；这样，你们心里就必得安息。他们却说：‘我们不走在其中。’

因此人要离开父母，和妻子连合，二人成为一体。

挪亚带着他的儿子、妻子和儿媳一同进了方舟，躲避洪水。

耶稣回答：“暂且这样作吧。我们理当这样履行全部的义。”于是约翰答应了他。

就不要硬着心，好像在米利巴，就是在旷野的玛撒的日子一样。

他们使自己的心刚硬如金钢石，不肯听从律法和万军之耶和华藉着他的灵、透过从前的先知所说的话。因此，万军之耶和华非常忿怒。

耶稣说：“因为你们的心硬，摩西才写这条例给你们。

那些鬼就求耶稣，说：“如果要赶我们出来，就准我们进到猪群里去吧。”

我说这话是容许你们，并不是命令。
