耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，人为神的国撇下房屋、妻子、弟兄、父母或儿女，没有不在今世得许多倍，来世得永生的。”

不但这样，我也把万事当作是有损的，因为我以认识我主基督耶稣为至宝。为了他，我把万事都抛弃了，看作废物，为了要得着基督。

耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，人为着我和福音舍弃了房屋、弟兄、姊妹、母亲、父亲、儿女、田地，没有不在今生得百倍─就是房屋、弟兄、姊妹、母亲、儿女、田地，同时要受迫害─在来世还要得永生。

“如果有人到我这里来，爱我不超过爱（“爱我不超过爱”原文作“不恨”）自己的父母、妻子、儿女、兄弟、姊妹，甚至自己的性命，就不能作我的门徒。

凡是想救自己生命的，必丧掉生命；但为我牺牲生命的，必得着生命。

爱父母过于爱我的，不配作属我的；爱儿女过于爱我的，不配作属我的；凡不背起自己的十字架来跟从我的，也不配作属我的。

你们要是为基督的名受辱骂，就有福了！因为神荣耀的灵，住在你们身上。

你们要先求他的国和他的义，这一切都必加给你们。

你们为我的名，要被众人恨恶，然而坚忍到底的必然得救。

你们若属于这世界，世人必定爱属自己的；但因为你们不属于世界，而是我从世界中拣选了你们，所以世人就恨你们。

世人为人子的缘故憎恨你们、排斥你们、辱骂你们，弃绝你们的名好像弃绝恶物，你们就有福了。

另一个门徒对他说：“主啊！请准我先回去安葬我的父亲吧。”耶稣对他说：“跟从我吧！让死人去埋葬他们的死人。”

人若因我的缘故辱骂你们，迫害你们，并且捏造各样坏话毁谤你们，你们就有福了。

那时，王要对右边的说：‘蒙我父赐福的，来承受创世以来为你们预备好的国吧。

我要指示他，为了我的名他必须受许多的苦。”

正如经上所记：“神为爱他的人所预备的，是眼睛未曾见过，耳朵未曾听过，人心也未曾想到的。”

有一个人前来见耶稣，说：“老师，我要作什么善事，才可以得着永生？”

那撒在好土里的，就是人听了道，又明白了，结出果实来，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。”

有的落在好土里，结出果实，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。

所以，从今以后，我们不再按照人的看法认识人；虽然我们曾经按照人的看法认识基督，但现在不再这样了。

他们要进入永远的刑罚，义人却要进入永生。”
