他問耶穌說：『甚麼誡命啊？』耶穌說：就是：『不可殺人；不可姦淫；不可偷竊；不可作假見證；

那個人就問：「哪些誡命呢？」耶穌回答說：「不可殺人、不可通姦、不可偷竊、不可做偽證、

曰、何誡乎、耶穌曰、勿殺、勿淫、勿竊、勿妄敬、

曰何誡、耶穌曰、毋殺人、毋行淫、毋攘竊、毋妄證、

曰：『何誡？』曰：『毋殺人、毋姦淫、毋偷盜、毋妄證、

“ Which ones?” he inquired. Jesus replied,“‘ You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony,

“ Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus said,“‘ Do not murder. Do not commit adultery. Do not steal. Do not be a false witness.

“ Which ones?” the man asked. And Jesus replied:“‘ You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely.

“ Which ones?” he asked him. Jesus answered: Do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not bear false witness;

Then he* said to Him,“ Which ones?” And Jesus said,“ You shall not commit murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not give false testimony;

He said to Him,“ Which ones?” Jesus said,“‘ You shall not murder,’‘ You shall not commit adultery,’‘ You shall not steal,’‘ You shall not bear false witness,’

He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

“ Which ones?” he asked Him. Jesus answered: Do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not bear false witness;

He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

“ Which ones?” he asked. Jesus replied,“ Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony,

He said to him,“ Which ones?” Jesus said,“‘ You shall not murder.’‘ You shall not commit adultery.’‘ You shall not steal.’‘ You shall not offer false testimony.’

「『當孝敬父母，正如耶和華－你上帝所吩咐的，使你得福，並使你的日子在耶和華－你上帝所賜給你的地上得以長久。「『不可殺人。「『不可姦淫。「『不可偷盜。「『不可做假見證陷害你的鄰舍。「『不可貪戀你鄰舍的妻子；也不可貪圖你鄰舍的房屋、田地、僕婢、牛驢，以及他一切所有的。』

凡出於律法的行為都是受詛咒的，因為經上記着：「凡不持守律法書上所記的一切而去行的，都是受詛咒的。」

因為凡遵守全部律法的，只違背了一條就是違犯了所有的律法。原來那說「不可姦淫」的，也說「不可殺人」。你就是不姦淫，卻殺人，也是成為違犯律法的。

誡命你是知道的：『不可殺人；不可姦淫；不可偷盜；不可作假見證；不可虧負人；當孝敬父母。』」

「當孝敬父母，使你的日子在耶和華－你上帝所賜你的地上得以長久。「不可殺人。「不可姦淫。「不可偷盜。「不可做假見證陷害你的鄰舍。「不可貪戀你鄰舍的房屋；不可貪戀你鄰舍的妻子、奴僕、婢女、牛驢，以及他一切所有的。」

你們除了彼此相愛，對任何人都不可虧欠甚麼，因為那愛人的就成全了律法。那不可姦淫，不可殺人，不可偷盜，不可貪婪，或別的誡命，都包括在「愛鄰如己」這一句話之內了。愛是不對鄰人作惡，所以愛就成全了律法。

「你們聽過有對古人說：『不可殺人』；『凡殺人的，必須受審判。』但是我告訴你們：凡向弟兄動怒的，必須受審判；凡罵弟兄是廢物的，必須受議會的審判；凡罵弟兄是白痴的，必須遭受地獄的火。所以，你在祭壇上獻祭物的時候，若想起有弟兄對你懷恨，就要把祭物留在壇前，先去跟弟兄和好，然後來獻祭物。你同告你的冤家還在路上，就要趕快與他講和，免得他把你送交給法官，法官交給警衛，你就下在監裏了。我實在告訴你，就是有一個大文錢還沒有還清，你也絕不能從那裏出來。」「你們聽過有話說：『不可姦淫。』但是我告訴你們：凡看見婦女就動淫念的，這人心裏已經與她犯姦淫了。

誡命你是知道的：『不可姦淫；不可殺人；不可偷盜；不可作假見證；當孝敬父母。』」
