曰、何誡乎、耶穌曰、勿殺、勿淫、勿竊、勿妄敬、

曰何誡、耶穌曰、毋殺人、毋行淫、毋攘竊、毋妄證、

曰：『何誡？』曰：『毋殺人、毋姦淫、毋偷盜、毋妄證、

“ Which ones?” he inquired. Jesus replied,“‘ You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony,

“ Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus said,“‘ Do not murder. Do not commit adultery. Do not steal. Do not be a false witness.

He said to him,“ Which ones?” And Jesus said,“ You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,

“ Which ones?” the man asked. And Jesus replied:“‘ You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely.

“ Which ones?” he asked him. Jesus answered: Do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not bear false witness;

Then he* said to Him,“ Which ones?” And Jesus said,“ You shall not commit murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not give false testimony;

He said to Him,“ Which ones?” Jesus said,“‘ You shall not murder,’‘ You shall not commit adultery,’‘ You shall not steal,’‘ You shall not bear false witness,’

He saith unto him, Which? And Jesus said, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

“ Which ones?” he asked Him. Jesus answered: Do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not bear false witness;

『「要孝敬你的父親和母親，照永恆主你的上帝所吩咐你的，使你得享長壽，並使你在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的土地、平安順遂。『「不可殺人。『「不可行姦淫。『「不可偷竊。『「不可作虛謊的見證陷害你的鄰舍。『「不可貪愛你鄰舍的妻子，不可貪慕你鄰舍的房屋、田地、奴僕、使女、牛、驢、和你鄰舍的任何東西。」

凡以行律法為本的都在被咒詛之下；因為經上記着說：『凡不持守律法書上所記的一切去行的人都被咒詛。』

因為凡遵守全律法、而在一件事上失腳的、就有全部罪責了。因為那說『不可姦淫』的、也說『不可殺人』；你若不姦淫，卻殺人，你還是犯法的。

誡命你曉得：「不可殺人；不可行姦淫；不可偷竊；不可作假見證；不可詐取人；要孝敬父親和母親。」』

『要孝敬你的父親和母親，使你在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的土地得享長壽。『不可殺人。『不可行姦淫。『不可偷竊。『不可作假見證陷害你的鄰舍。『不可貪愛你鄰舍的家，不可貪愛你鄰舍的妻子、奴僕、使女、牛、驢、和你鄰舍的任何東西。』

除了彼此相愛，對任何人都不可欠甚麼債；因為愛人、便是行盡了律法。因為那說：「你不可姦淫，不可殺人，不可偷竊，不可貪慾」的誡命——以及任何別的誡命——都總歸「在愛你的鄰舍如同你自己」這一句話之內。愛、不作惡事害鄰舍；所以愛即是行盡了律法。

『你們曾聽見有話對古人說：「不可殺人；凡殺人的必須擔受判罰。」但是我告訴你們：凡向弟兄發怒的，必須擔受判罰；凡罵弟兄為「飯桶」的，必須擔受議院的判罰；凡罵弟兄為「傻瓜」的，必須擔受地獄的火。所以你在祭壇前供獻禮物，若在那裏想起你弟兄向你有不對的事，你就當把禮物留在那裏、在祭壇前，去先同你弟兄後此復和，然後來供獻禮物。你同告你的對頭還在路上時，要趕緊向他表示好意；恐怕那告你的對頭把你送交審判官，審判官把你送交衙役，你就被下在監裏。我實在告訴你，非等到最後的一個大錢都還清了，你斷乎不能從那裏出來。『你們聽見有話說：「不可姦淫」。但是我告訴你們、凡看婦女、而動慾念的，這人心裏已經和她犯了姦淫了。

誡命你曉得：「不可姦淫；不可殺人；不可偷竊；不可作假見證；要孝敬父親和母親。」』
